Is a windshield still available for an S30?
check with elite auto glass if they are in your area. Not all glass is equal. You will notice this the first time when it's raining and the wiper doesn't lay flat on the glass and siting through the glass.

Stupid Newbie Question...
automatic tranny fluid is filled where you check it. Unless you go to a transmission shop have have the transmission flushed of all the old fluid.

Gas dripping at rear after fill-up
7' of the 5/8" fuel rated hose for the vent hose that is on the driver side on the lower portion of the tank. After 14 yrs of sitting, the one in my 240 leaked like a sieve after filling it up. You don't have to drop the tank to replace this hose. You will have to get to the expansion tank inside the pass side to replace it at that end.

Is this a Series 1 Part?
doubt it's for a z. Maybe some kind of plate for a gas tank on a truck. Maybe turn it over for a running board.

Junkyard & "Out to Pasture" Zs
The knobs are probably just like all the badging thieves. Notice how all the badges are already off of the z cars? That's especially true of pull n save yard.

Junkyard & "Out to Pasture" Zs
sidewinder would sell the whole cars now? Thats a switch. They got in trouble a few yrs ago for buying an abandoned car from an apartment complex and the owner reported it stolen after 3 months. apparently he was out of the country and they thought it was abandoned. $350 for a trans is really steep especially at sidewinder. The gear shift would be a good thing to have for a 5 spd conversion. That is if they did use a 5 spd gear shift for the 5 spd. There have been a few that still had a 4 spd shifter in a stock 5 spd 280z. never mind, i can't read very well. That is one place i have never been to is speedway or the other yards near dacono.

Junkyard & "Out to Pasture" Zs
Unfortunately pull n save, sidewinder, western, action and the rest of the self service yards near Denver won't sell the whole car any more. The reason I got was they don't have a dealer license.

Garage car lift
That was his opinion about what lifts he was looking at. But he did do some homework. I have seen a few lifts on craigs list. Not sure of the brand. But the people selling them had a few in stock and was told they bought them from a dealership that gets new ones after the warranty runs out. Looks like more homework to do.

Top End Performance triangulated rear strut bar...
Here is the thread on zcar for the TEP front strut bar. The excuse about it being a 30 yr old car and ridden hard all it's life is just another excuse for poor workmanship on a part that should be built to spec. Nothing can be be that far off without having major alignment problems. http://www.zcar.com/forums/read.php?f=1&i=690436&t=690389#reply_690436

Not sure. As I said in an earlier post he had it in the odometer classifieds to fill up space. The best thing to do is to contact him. He should have contact info in the odometer.

Gary is older, tall and slim. He's going through therapy to get his speach back. His 240 was the red one under the front canopy.

Yeah, that's Gary Bracken. he had a stroke last yr. I'm not sure how interested he was in selling it. He bought it last year or the year before. He used to have it for sale in the odometer but more or less to fill out extra space in the classifieds. lonetree steve saw it at the car show so he would probably have better idea of the condition. I never paid that close attention to it as i have 2 cars that occupy my time. ;-)
