There are still a few old diehards in the club who go to all the outings and track days. The 280z may or not be Walt Carron in your pick. I'm not sure how long he has been with the club but I do know he still has a brown 280z. Now it has a 327 in it. I don't know whose cars the others might be in the pic. The track days would attract quite a few people although the 1st gen was a little lacking. Depending on the drive we can usually get at least 10 cars show up. We had a very good showing of 1st gens today, at least a dozen.

Yeah, I forget some people have a life, I just wanted to yank your chain a little. ;-) How's your schedule look for the 7th? Steve won't bring his 240. There are dirt roads to get to the track. I'm sure there will be someone to give you a ride. Let me know and I can give you better directions if you can't find it on the zccc.org forum.

lonetreesteve showed up and also 240zman(daniel). wlfcolorado (flake)(j/k) ;-) wasn't able to make it. Daniel is a regular zccc member. Steve has a very retsored 240z, Daniel a very nice '73 240. I brought my 82 zxt. I know both Steve and Daniel took quite a few pics. Hopefully they will post them when they get a chance. We still had 49 cars show up. Even a couple of roadsters from the colorado wyoming roadster club. Oct 7th we will have another track day at the state patrol track in golden.

Well, at least you can practice with the clutch before you put in the 5 spd. :-D

Did you tighten the pivot bolts that mount to the engine block bracket?

There are stipulations even with the unlimited mileage. It cannot be a daily driver and can only be used for pleasure or car club events.

Warren/customlock has a new 3 spd auto. I'm pretty sure he wants to sell it. I'm not sure if he frequents this forum, but he usually haunts zcar and hybridz.

even the side markers have been shaved. So it's a gfuess to what the body would be like and how good a job they did.

I have only seen it from the street as I drove by. It had a green tarp on it. From the pics it looks good if that is the original paint and not a respray. Lonetree steve is closer to it than I am. Maybe he can check it out if he gets a chance.

Turn the bleeder or swap the calipers from one side to the other? Glad you got it all sorted out.

What exactly is your brake set up front and back?

Did you adjust the rear brakes? bleed screws go on the top of the calipers.

Take out the shifter to confirm the bushings for the pin and the plastic cap on the bottom of the shifter is in place. If that is still intact then look for another 5 spd or get your old one rebuilt. You can check my pic gallery here and on hybridz for pics of different transmissions and shifters.

Bill, Steve The car show is on the 16th, I don't know the time yet. Last year it started at 10am and went until 1 or 2 pm. No judging, just people's choice. The losers of the go-kart race at bandimere on aug 27th will have to cook for the winners.
