L crate engine recommendations
I have a nice looking 240z but the motor is a little tired. My engine has triple webbers and header. I am torn between going crazy with2jz/rb/ls1 swap or install a nice crate engine. How much reliable rwhp can I get out of crate L engine ? I am looking for recommendations on places to buy the crate engine.

Rota Grid V
Is Rota still in business? There used to be subedude or something like that and rotawheel.com They are all gone. When you search for rota wheels seems like only fly by night ebay vendors have leftovers. I don't see any reputably sites carrying them.

240Z pulling to the right when braking
If you have ruled out brakes and tires it has to be your suspension. I used to be a mechanic. On newer cars with say 100,000 miles on them almost every time a car pulled to one side it was a worn bushing that looked fine on the lift until you applied pressure or leverage to the wishbone; control arm etc... On very old cars like the Z it could also be sticking piston in the brake caliber. Sounds like you already ruled that out though.

How did this turn out?

Hard start. Triple webers
Hi Rio24, I can't help with tuning and synchronizing multi carbs as I am learning myself. From the picture I see you have a mechanical fuel pump. I know an electric fuel pump with a fuel regulator helps a lot. It will never be as good a modern car with with fuel injection and a computer. When the car sits for a while fuel evaporates from the carburetor and it take a while for the mechanical fuel pump to get enough gas to carbs.

triple Webers linkage ( or convert to throttle linkage ? )
A friend of mine who builds race engines recommended Loctite 492147 640 High Strength Sleeve Retainer Bottle, 36-milliliter. He said it would make it permanent https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KKTS6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Adds up to 3,000 psi holding power

triple Webers linkage ( or convert to throttle linkage ? )
Thanks. If I can not get the linkage to work I will try and figure out what I need from that site. I know I am going to need at least a new pedal, cable, bell crank and some way to mount all this stuff. I tried looking at it yesterday and did not have a good way on how I would convert to throttle cable and get the full range of motion for the carbs.

I would like that a lot if you could find it. Thanks.

triple Webers linkage ( or convert to throttle linkage ? )
Thanks for confirming that for me. I am going to see if I can buy stock linkage arm and have it modify correctly.

triple Webers linkage ( or convert to throttle linkage ? )
I see. Now that you mention it I could see that.

triple Webers linkage ( or convert to throttle linkage ? )
I am not sure if I fully understand your question. It does not appear to be too short or binding. From the best I can tell the car probably had twin carbs which means that shaft was longer as reached farther away. They purchased tripple carbs, now the shaft is too long. I am guessing the kit did not include the needed shorter shaft so they shorten it. I was wondering what does everyone else do who who has tripple webbers/mikuni do ?
