  1. The only solution is to take your Z off ebay and GIVE it to me. The Z must go to someone who will properly appreciate her, and you must be punished for your blasphomeous ways-no financial renumeration for your transgressions. Will
  2. The information (Diamond) that is purely about the car(s) is published in several sources. In the post, we have effectively gotten a digested version of those, and a bibliography of those sources(Diamonds) that I had not experienced. You and Carl have facetted them for the rest of us, but also given us access to the mine and the facetting tools, improving the availabilty of satisfaction for my thirst. Will
  3. Radio Shack-$10. I have dug out the top line of a rear window defroster grid, and glued the wire in the trough. Not noticeable in the back windows(without tint), and pretty effective. Will
  4. This thread is very interesting-albeit as an intellectual soapopera-along the lines of The Spark Museum arguing a point with the Burndy Library over the intent in the invention of a voltiac pile! Diamonds amongst the dross are rarely in such abundance. Will
  5. Bryan, Maybe you should type in script when you are kidding! Will

I used Fiero seats-they had speakers too, replaced the oem speakers with some Cerwin Vegas-better sound, but far from great. Will
  8. We are all know nothings, the earth is spinning at 700-ll00 mph(depending on proximity to the equater-so we all are rocking right along every minute of every day! Will
  9. Epoxy the piece in place. Will
  10. I knew this girl once-she has all of them beat! In a Z, 137mph in 1976 280Z2+2 automatic(the blue one in my gallery) with a L28ET. In a professionally modified BMW Z4, 156 mph on a city street-I was not driving-nor will I get back in any car with the jackass unless he does not drive-you don't just open the door and let youself out over 35mph. Will
  11. "I just figured the rear vertical defogger glass was worth that much."($500) Somebody got a deal! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7956848475&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1 Will

How about a picture-I may have on to save you postage, and transit exposure for yours. Will
  15. Depends-this is what sets the allignment. The only way to get close is to measure the distance before you take the assembly apart to begin with. The threaded rod will rotate without dissassembly, that is how the allignment is set by a shop-loosen the nut that endjambs to the tierod end, and turn the whole rod, titghten the rod when the distance is correct-the FSM gives the alignment procedure. Talk about a trip to the parts store! Will
  17. It is named as a bleed off container for the fuel pressure regulator, but it could also be used as a fuel accumulator for adding efi to a carbureated engine-the carb fuel pump at the tank pumps fuel into this container, then an efi fuel pump pushes the fuel to the injectors, and the excess form the FPR is bled back into the tank. Eastwood sells panel adhesive and tools to do just that. I considered it as a way of replacing door skins, just cut off the old one and glue a new one on. As sticky as diaper goo is, I am not sure it would make a good pannel adhesive :stupid: ! How is that youngster? Will
  20. Carl, I would hate to feel that I have deprived you of merging your secret love of the Ford Pinto and your well documented love of the 240Z by taking the very wheels you have obviously saved all of these years for your own car ! While I appreciate the jesture, I simply could not accept a gift you treasure so much :stupid: ! Now the Rewinds you bought to use to keep the Pinto wheels pristine, well, that's another story ! I would be happy to accept those wheels, I would even send you a set of western mags just to make sure your beloved Pinto wheels didn't have to speen too much time on the street when the weather was bad, and the babes weren't watching :rambo: ! I know the patern is right there :cheeky: ! Will

Sorry Tomohawk, somehow I missed your previous reply until now. I will take some pictures, and find the link for what I ordered from where in the next day or two. Did I ever send you a CD of my research photos? If not, PM me your address, and I will. The fuel rail stock was fairly inexpensive. I bought enough to make 4 rails(one for each of my projects) I have made up a steel barstock template for marking, and my rails will be machined to take o-ringed Ford injectors. TomoHawk, think about what you want, and PM me with it, When I set up to make my rails, I'll do one for you at the same time-if I can do what you want. Will
  22. it came out of the smaller of the two seals, on the second one, I just watched for a movement in the boot, and stopped before forcing the grease out. Will
