Fix for Slow Wipers
RainX-I drove my '73 four years with no wipers-No buildup, and will not trap sand and grit for the wipers to grind into the windshield just as Enrique said!

coilover purchase advisor
I bought a set from Coleman http://www.colemanracing.com/section/index.htp?id=343. I bought only the sleeves and collars as I am going to modify a set of perches to work with them to come up with the ride height and weld another set of perches back to the strut to keep the stock appearance. High quality, low cost! Will

Enrique, Yes, I guess it was kind of harsh-that wasn't the intent, but I can see where that could have come across. I do look at an ad with OBO just that way though. I start with what I consider to be a respectable offer-with out regard for any amount listed in the ad, and work up to what I would consider my limit. Now, that does not mean I am not polite to the seller, it simply means that I read the ad, and made an offer-just because it may not have been my best offer does not mean that it could not have been the sellers best offer. I did the very same thing when I tried to buy the JDM headlight covers as I posted in another thread, and I was not rude or curt there. Being rude can make a price go up, or a purchase dissapear forever, being polite can only help as long as the communication is complete, or at least open ended-and persistant! Will

I am going to try to move a ZX wiper drive to my '72, wiring and all-to get more powerful wipers, and the variable timing feature. Will

What is the story on the intakes? I am considering a one-off for myself at some point. Will

OBO is a sign that says ignore everything involving price before or after. Offer what you would like to pay and move toward the limit of what you would pay-regardless of any other figures in the situation-the seller has already thrown them out the window with the OBO. Will

No, talk about them, figure out they are hairbrained, and then move on to do the ones that really make sence!! I would rather have the opportunity to dissuade you that to tell you "I told you so!" Keep pondering before you start cutting! Will

question regarding tripple weber carbs
I'm with you Gavin, as long a the description is fair and honest, the deal is done. Approaching the seller with the problem and asking for his help is the right way to go. I had a guy in California bid on and win an airdam. WHen I figures out shipping, he could have bought it at MSA cheeper. I let him out. and gave him good feedback for being so straight folward. Will

I don't know what she is doing, but I know what I'd be doing, nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean, know what I mean ! But she would have to replace the boyfriend if you get my drift-I don't care how many vin numbers she had! Will
