  1. Those instructions would be a good thing to put in the archives or donload section. they are well done, and full of info. Thanks for sending them out, Will
  2. Carl, you are so evil! My mother was Shirley! Yes ,I left the glove at home, and caught the Jab anyway. I could go into a long and detailed discription of her "technologicly challenged" nature, but it wouldn't wash. When she is more comfortable standing(and with her ability to dress a little more formally), or more to the point, I figure out the timer thingy on either one of my cameras, we will post a family picture! I have to make Delta(er, Trisha) Happy ith the things I do. Before any nasty rumors get cranked up, I never had a Turbo ZX, I just used them for parts. Jam-oops, Will
  3. Carl, I don't have a member mugshotTo hard to look through the camera and see yourself-unless you are Wilson)-does that make me a figment too-if so then you are-or could be-typing to yourself, and if that is so, is it like talking to yourself-only worse because you have to wait for you to reply? (sleep depravation-diaper fumes-you pick it) The Northern hairpins are aka Shermans Hairpins, or Shermans Necties Will
  4. Get the Z-Therapy video-not so hot in the production department, but more than makes up for it in the info and procedure department. Will
  5. Carl, some how I knew you would get it! Does that mean that the members here are figments? I am supprised there are no comments on the "Northern Hairpins" Come on Carl, "get 'er done!" Oh you collector of sexy sequential twin sheetmetal, I'll shoot a copy to the sunshine state! Will
  6. Don't forget an even more mindboggling sight, the water in the toilet rotating the wrong way! Will
  7. I'm there! Will
  8. Thanks Mike, check My Gallery! I'll put up some more when I figure out how to set him up in the '73 without falling over! (I just can't keep my balance anymore!) Will
  9. I'll set the DVD/VHS recorder and capture it both ways. Bill I haven't forgotten the pictures, but there has been something small, unbelieveable loud, and outrageously rude to diapers on my mind... I will Pm you. Will Seerex, I have flown all over the country, and I have yet to see a "date line" or a "time zone" from the air-must be like those northern hairpins we find down here !
  10. Savannah isn't but 2hrs and change from Jax(I10) and Tallahassee(I10) is about 5hrs and change. I will have to work it both ways, but, I have relatives with a Z (The Aston Martin variety) in Thomasville(half an hour from I10) where I could spend the night before getting the major leg under way! I will run the numers as we get closer and the car progresses. Will
  11. Thanks Carl-Guilty as charged(not reading the entire thread before pushing buttons!) Scott and Vicky, If everything goes as planned, I might bring up the rear so to speak, If I get both of the cars finished-they may be trailered as well. If not the '72 will be under its own power. How are you going up? Will

T6061 Aluminum for the ring, studs as needed-at least grade 8.8. considering the disclaimers, You can probably have them cheeper locally, just be sure to specify the materials and the useage. Will
  13. They both cary some of both oem and aftermarket, and indicate which is which. Neither is affliated with Nissan. I shop both and somethings are cheeper at on or the other, but both really seem to want our business. Fortunately, of the things I have ordered, all have had a dramatic price or availability difference, so there was never any decision as to which to buy what from. I have had terrific service from both-in the absence of she who will remain nameless... Will
  14. Dave, when I send the harness and ends from the 76 and the 2+2 I will also send you 100 or so of the ultra Bright white leds and resistors, and what ever else I can drum up in hopes of helping your efforts. (out on Wed/Thurs) Will
  15. Make sure you use materials made for automotive use, www.waytekwire.com , for example. I would also make use of convoluted tubing. Straightening out, or, atleast reviewing the current wiring for the current problem might be a good idea-the changes were made for a reason. If you can figure out why you could probably address that situation with your additions as well. Will

  17. What are the timely particulars of the show (when)?, and what if we set up meeting a some thing like several hours-to a day-before and went together, so that the first come, first serve could be used to our advantage? I think Chino 240Z has the right idea. Not that my car might not suffer from comparisons with some of the local club members, but considering it will just have been driven from Ga to Cali, I would rather it be among friends and possibly help them. I am shooting for having the '72 back on the street before then, and making that her second trip of any consequence. Will

Ebay has the steering wheels all of the time, the rails occassionally, and most anything else at least once in a while... Will

"There is always the chance that I'll buy a '67 Fastback which next to a 240 is my dream car." So you want to take a step down? How easy would it be to replace your Z? What would it cost to get or bring one to the shape of yours? I recon you better tie up those loosies on the upper paddock soon... Before the Z gets away. Will
  20. I didn't get to put it in over the weekend, too much out of town company-lights were bad anyway, it looks like the baby will be here on Friday, so it will probably not happen this weekend either, but several nights next week my wifes family will be here, and I will be in the way-unless I am elbow deep in an engine compartment, adding circuitry to a wiring harness..... Will

Replace the rubber with rubber to keep a softer, more forgiving ride-but know you will need to replace them again down the road. Replace the rubber with urethane to add some response to the suspension, and remove most of the compliance, at the expense of some of the ride comfort. Replace the bearings as they need it Shocks will make a good difference too-might look in the acrhives, Mike has done an article on the adjustable variety, and many members have given their opinions throughout the suspension forums.. I am going overboard on mine, urethane, Tokico Optimas, customized spring perch mounting locations, Tokico Springs, 280 Swaybars, caster and camber adjustments, but nothing that will look like it isn't factory unless you have a facttory piece to compare it to. Will
  22. Welcome! Pretty car! Will
  23. Have drill press, will drill! Will
