What ticks you off about Ebay
The one that burns my butt the worst about Paypal is I still have open issues from four years ago-like I am going to let Paypal off the hook for refunds due to non delivery they told me they could give me! Will

What ticks you off about Ebay
What are the worst parts of ebay? What do you guys think? Will

would you be happy with these???
Point them to this thread ans politely ask if they want to rethink their position... There is no substitute for customer service and nothing worse than not having any... Then again, you have two companies to deal with, your local Dealer and MSA...better find out which one is stonewalling before painting MSA as the bady MSA has a good bit more reason to take care of this sort of issue. I like my pick'n'pull. Best $30 I've ever spent.
Stephen, That almost makes up for living close to AL! Some guys have all the luck, we have one P&P(Cash-N-Carry) and they have a core charge on everything(glass, bumpers, upholstery seats...but you can't get the core charge back when you bring the old one back)-but the more you bring out the less they hunt for things to charge for... We have one other self service yard-but the owner-a crotchey old goat who could teach Rick a thing or two-thinks the vale of everything begins at $100(a decent set of luggage straps for example). His answer to wanting it for less is "it'll be here when you can't find it anywhere else-go put the sh!t back!" Needless to say there is a big pile of pulled parts right by the front gate. I check once a year or so to see if someone has dropped his sanity close enough for him to get it back, or someone has taken over.

diamond in the rough?
I bought a $500 '82 ZX off ebay several rears ago, it ran, but wouldn't stay running-it had a leaking gas tank, and a bad ignition module. If you can start the car(take a gas can, a fuel pump a battery and enough wire to get the pump working safely) and it continues to run I would open the tank(round access panel in the hatch floor-and look into the tank to see how clean/gooped up it is, before trying to start it. if the tank is gooped up, drop it, clean it, flush the fuel lines, replace the filter, and give the key a blip! Those years ago, I knew the car had $1000 worth of parts in it, while repairing and driving it was the plan, I knew I couldn't lose in the deal-you are probably in the same place Will

240Z parts bought from EVILC
Yup, Clive sent my parts and then we found out we were both going to the convention. The parts complete and were in better shape than I expected, packed well, delivered fast, and reasonable in cost-I will buy from Clive again-he's a good egg! Will

would you be happy with these???
UNless the ad made it obvious the parts would need to be painted, I would be upset-and they should be...the guy packing the box should have caught that, kept it in the building, and put it on the appropriate desk to have that issue corrected. Will

83-280 into a 78-280??
There are no subframes in either car-they are both unibody cars. As to the cross member, given enough time and money anything is possible, but I wouldn't try it. The whole drivetrain and efi can be moved. Use a ZXT/S30 swap as a guide and you should have no issues. Zhome has a couple of articles on the turbo swap, as does HybridZ... Will

The making of reproduction parts.
So far I have not made the washer that goes next to the paint, but the semi-spherical piece above it. I have several of those, I will put that in the next mold run-I probably should offer that with the semi-spherical piece.... Will

The making of reproduction parts.
Have you checked with Ejji at Datsun Spirit? He has had them before, also the '73 version is still available from your local dealer-if they aren't "too busy" to check. If you get stuck, I have several used ones in decent shape, or I can order you a new '73 for my cost plus shipping-it fits exactly right and looks like it belongs, but it is a bit different... As for the Insurance company with a brain...I think that is coming up in the new episode of MythBusters... Will

The making of reproduction parts.
I have never seen an original Z any way other than Arne has noted -but lets get some other experiences. BTW, It won't be too long before most of what is in this thread (and a healthy number of things that aren't) are available, and all of that will be introduced here first(in more ways than one)! Will
