  1. I just got my booster back. These guys do a great job.
  2. I want original. I'm learning some things the hard way.
  3. Crap, I ordered it. It looks like false advertising then if it says OEM. That price and the fact that they say OEM, it should be OEM. AM I expecting too much? How do you know if a part is OEM, if OEM no longer means OEM?
  4. https://zcardepot.com/collections/master-cylinder/products/brake-master-cylinder-oem-240z-260z-280z Good OEM replacement ?
  5. Is New remnaufactured OEM? https://zcardepot.com/products/brake-caliper-front-240z-260z-280z-70-78?variant=19275575623793 And I’m assuming that this OEM part is the same on both sides, since all I can find is the “right” side? https://zcardepot.com/products/wheel-cylinder-oem-right-70-72-240z?variant=19275500486769
  6. I ordered some OEM brake lines.
  7. One and done, what do you think. https://zcarsource.com/complete-brake-kit-240z-70-72-new Carl Beck, thoughts ?
  8. And what should I do at all four corners. I have the wheels off and ready to start these also. The drum brakes look like they have some brakes left and the wear on the drum looks even. I haven't worked on brakes in a while, so I'm not sure of the terms. But I think it's the calipers, should I get new ones or rebuild these? I don't mind putting a little money into this thing. I want to have all good equipment on it that I install. S
  9. I pulled the master cylinder resivour off. It's dried out and it looks like some type of corrosion. The master cylinder itself is full of crud! Do I need to pull the unit off the firewall and flush/clean it? I'm cleaning the reservoirs and will blow out the lines. I'm just not sure what to do with the unit on the firewall? How far should I tear into the brakes I have all the hubs off. When I first brought the car home I had to dismantle the rear hubs and brakes in order to move the car. Now the brakes are dialed way back. I'm looking for all around advise on this pice of the project. So far the fuel system is complete. Cooling system is almost complete. Carburetors have been removed and cleaned. I backed the car out of the shop today to flush the block with water. That is the first time I've ever driven a 240Z, or any Z. Reverse with no brakes. The car seemed to run pretty well for the short time it was running. It backfires through both carburetors when I tried to increase the throttle ? Moving along. I have a goal now, I just can't remember what it is. It's a date I want to finish it and take it to a car show.
  10. I'm going to start fixing up the brakes. Any things I should pay close attention to here ?
  11. Newly rebuilt radiator. Probably the best part on the whole car. I need to get a thermostat and the cap that houses it, the cap is cracked, any ideas where I can get the cap/radiator hose to block connector?
  12. I’m. not sure where you were going with this, I think it might help me, I’m just not sure what youre saying?
  13. With my radiator out and the rust and other gunk that came out of it, is there something i should to clean out the coolent portion of my engine block? If so what ?
  14. I took my radiator in to have it boiled and tested. It was leaking. I was given lots of options. I chose to have it re-cored with three aluminum rows. So, it will have the old look with a new aluminum core. $578 .
  15. PM sent
  16. I also don't know what they are for. Are they the grommets I need, plus some, or just the ones I need? Sorry, I'm new to this.
  17. I don't know what "NOS Grommets" are, but I think I'm interested.
  18. Any idea if this is stock? Is the top and bottom stock? If it’s bad I might replace the core with aluminum and keep the rest original? Thoughts? In in the process of replacing my heater hoses. The grommets on the firewall are bad, any idea where I can get replacements? This photo shows the fit of my tank with the original long strap. It’s pretty tight. My tank may have expanded during the boiling, any ideas how to make this fit?
  19. I took my radiator in to have it boiled today. The guy said he thought it had been re-cored, or repaired. It has three rows of fins, my understanding is the original had two rows? Here's a few pictures
  20. I've been using THE SKYBRYTE COMPANY 1275 OSPHO GAL Metal Treatment Coating, should I use a respirator when using this product?

Make sense. I posted in different topics trying to keep specific topics to a forum. For myself, I like the idea of one thread. I’ll go back to that method. Thank you.
  22. Does anybody have reference to a heating and cooling hose set diagram?
  23. Thank you.
