Making more space, so this 240 Z seat is up for sale. Passenger side, no tears, cuts or problems and looks great. I think it is the original, but you tell me? I'm asking $50. Here are a few pictures if you're interested. Craig

A little history on the air dam, Dave & Patty Vanek operated a Datsun Z mail order business back in 1975, and this type of air dam was used thru the 80s. Since then they have been selling after market equip. for SUVs and their business is now called Explorer Express. Now that the Zeds are a hot item again maybe they will get back into furnishing things for us Zed Heads? I would imagine they sold for about $125 to $150 new? I currently have the Xenon Ureflex air dam, it sells for about $170. I was hoping to get $65. for this Z Doctor air dam, or best offer? Nothing is wrong with it, looks pretty cool, light weight and works good. I was storing it as a back up, but too much back up stuff.

Evildky, Wow, Realistate must have been expensive to blow out at that cost. Cool deal. I supprised you have one too! With the right duct work in place you can do some major cooling. The one I have now doesn't have as good of ducts. :classic:

Ookay Bestus buddy, what are we talking about here? Yes I agree a WCZR decal would look good on serveral different places. Speaking of decals, my computer lazer engraver buddy is working on a logo for his business Sundance Engraving and also Karr Industrial Products to sport on our car. I will then see about getting them cut from Fast Signs. They are located everywhere. Have you got any farther with the WCZR artwork? I'm trying to get this car re-decorated by MSA show. I have a person looking at the airdam this weekend. So, do you need an airdam?

Z Doctor fiberglass air dam. This air dam was once on our 240Z but change to different type to make trailer loading easier. It is black fiberglass no chips, cracks, or damage. Has rubber flap along bottom edge. Duct opening for brake cooling or other. Make me an offer, I'm in Chino, Calif. Will deliver if local or bring it to the MSA Z car show on Sunday. Craig

Like you said, she's the "Boss". It is one of the ways I can keep this bad habit going and also she has more buying power than I do, so I have to give some where ya know. . . :nervous:

Oh well, picture doesn't look all that clear when it comes up. But you can see one later, in my gallery. Cheers

Here is an instrument panel plate that I made with a friends laser engraving machine. It is the first one and we're trying it out to see how it holds up. For now I just used a simple graphic layout, basic colors, a little personal touch for fun and well check it out. It's not so much for the restoration type of person, but rather custom. Craig

That's crazzzy! In my car I found an envelop that had paper work where the PO was trying to solve registration problems. He had a bunch of police tickets for speeding in a modified car. Fix-it tickets for "No head lights, exhaust muffler, window wipers, turn signals, and all kinds of crap". This was one major paper trail from the day he took this road race car for a ride in the streets of San Francisco and got nailed. He gave up the fight with the temporary fix-its and repairs on the car and paid the tickets. ha ha ha Now I got the car. Won't add a thing either, I just hope Cindy doesn't get caught during a test drive, but you know women, you can't stop them even in a speeding Z!
  20. Vincent San, The area you will be going to in just beautiful. I had a friend in Yamagata and he loved his stay. I lived in Sendai, Morioka, Kitakami, Akita (Akita dogs originated from here) and Oodate. My favorite place is Japan was Aizuwakamatsu. Aizu is inland from Sendai & not to far from Yamagata. There is a castle in Aizu. (actually they are everywhere) with alot of Samurai history there. Yamagata is a fairly good size city. Outside the city the streets are narrow with lots of rice fields and forrest with every thing green. You will see lots of cars, mini trucks and vans on the road that were never released to the U.S.A. Once in awhile you may see a Mustang or a big American made car and it looks so out of place on the small streets. Get out of the big city and see the country, that is when you can really see and feel Japan and its people. If you get a chance to see someones Zed, ask them about it. They are always proud when someone notices their car! Don't forget to take some pictures of your car with you to share too. O'Genki desu yo. Craig :classic:

Ha ha, I could be your parent! When I was your age, I walked to school in the SNOW! or Son, you better let me drive the Z today, don't want anything bad to happen to it from you racing it!

You also might not want to rev. so high especially when your horse power may peak, say 6500 or something. This is where a dyno pull print out will show your useable hp and much past that point your hp drops off and you should be in the next gear. Well unless you're like me and pegging 5th, I need rear gear swap.

    That was my year too!
