  1. Sometimes I do feel like BAT is some kind of “micro climate” with only a very few guys (that I can count with one hand) that have deep pockets and interests in the same car to bring those prices up. I’m not saying that it is a bad thing, I’m more implying that if you have anything from a good resto candidate to a almost original car and want to sell, BAT seems to be the venue at this time over CL or freebay... my 2cents.
  2. I'm quite certain that they could have done it before chrome.
  3. Guys, I do not have any interests to comment and give my oppinion but while reading @Patcon's story I wanted to chime in a bit. FYI I'm just back from the factory few hours ago, where I did pick up my own bumpers. I have been in communications with them for a while and wanted to meet them, so I went! I met the Owner, Amy and their small team. Those folks are genuine hard workers and very nice people overall. They run a small operation and have a lot of differents bumper from RR, rare Mercedes models, VW Bug, P1800 to only name a few and of course our Z's. I saw their products and their operations. Produciton is simple, straight forward and the result; the bumpers, do look very good. In my case, SS chrome plated products and the packaging is good too (I'll comment again once I reach Montreal with them). I feel this is a very good quality product for the price, can't imagine the need to spend on re chroming an old set other than the need to absolutely have THE original ones on the car. By the way I'm sorry to hear your story @Patcon, but I need to say that horror stories do not only happen abroad but locally too. I did have my share of that in the past year but wont spill the tales here as I prefer to keep good relationship than start un necessary conflicts. I just tell myself that there is always more to it than we want to know or see. It does not excuse poor customer service and cheats but hey,,,
  4. I’m day dreaming of having 10% of your talent and skills, I would be proud of myself!...What a great job you are doing there... Keep it going!... Love to follow your progress. Cheers!
  5. Yes very unique details you pointed out! My Z has the same details other than being stamped 01/70... I have not seen it very clearly but I do suspect a clear back glass and no defrost switch on the center console. The car is in great shape, amazing for the age! Congrats!!
  6. Hello everyone, I do understand that this is an old tread but would anyone have one (1) clip somewhere waiting for a new owner?... something I can start form or maybe the technical drawing/specs of the clips?.. Anything would be appreciated thank you!
  7. Wow! Just a great project! Thank you for sharing with all of us. What a stunning car!
