    Datsun starts but only runs when key is in a certain spot

    I have a new ignition switch. I was able to hotwire to start and run but that no longer works. Im not getting ignition power, only power to the starter.

    Hi. I was looking for help on ignition issues on my 1970 Datsun 311. I bypassed the Ballast resistor but it didnt help.Thank you
