Seating brake line fittings
I have the same exact problem on the opposite end of the MC line. I’ll take mine off and look for a crack as well. Anyone have any replacement lines for this connection?

The Early 77 rear hatch differences
Mine is on the way. Should be here next week. I’ll post pics when it arrives. I’m just happy to find one. Went through the tank at a radiator shop, redcoat etc. still had pin holes seeping. Good riddance!!

Front Brakes Don't Work - Need Help!
The check valve is directional. Make sure you have the correct orientation of the valve. Either way you should be able to bleed the brakes properly. Good chance that reaction disc fell out. Ask me how I know..

@OwnalldayDid you mention in an earlier thread whether or not your using the stock bolt or the one MSA recommended? Which bolt is currently attaching the balancer?

@Av8fergI plugged mine with Allen head brass npt pipe plugs from Ace hardware. Used Teflon tape, So far so good.

Have you set the engine at top dead center on the compression stroke, remove the distributor and check the drive spindle for 11:20. That’s going to give you the indicator your looking for.

Good luck trying to contact those folks. A lot of horror stories on this forum related to Whitehead performance. They don’t answer the phone or emails.

Hey John, take your meter and check continuity from the spade to ground. Have no idea what that is but it looks like it’s possibly a ground connection.

280z propeller shafts with 4 speed
Just finished the auto to manual conversion on my 78. Drive shaft completely interchangeable. Changed diff R180 to R200 no difference in bolt patterns. Like @Zed Head mentioned flanges may be round or rectangular bolt pattern does not change. However,the ZX turbo T5 trans has a larger diameter yoke but the pinion flange remained the same.

Possibly soaking it in boiling water and see if that frees them up. Just a thought.
