Ask to have it powder coated as well. They do a fantastic job.
  13. The check valve is directional. Make sure you have the correct orientation of the valve. Either way you should be able to bleed the brakes properly. Good chance that reaction disc fell out. Ask me how I know..
  14. @OwnalldayDid you mention in an earlier thread whether or not your using the stock bolt or the one MSA recommended? Which bolt is currently attaching the balancer?

  17. Confused about the replacement damper from MSA being +20. Someone please chime in…
  18. Have you set the engine at top dead center on the compression stroke, remove the distributor and check the drive spindle for 11:20. That’s going to give you the indicator your looking for.
  19. Good luck trying to contact those folks. A lot of horror stories on this forum related to Whitehead performance. They don’t answer the phone or emails.
  20. Hey John, take your meter and check continuity from the spade to ground. Have no idea what that is but it looks like it’s possibly a ground connection.

  24. Just finished the auto to manual conversion on my 78. Drive shaft completely interchangeable. Changed diff R180 to R200 no difference in bolt patterns. Like @Zed Head mentioned flanges may be round or rectangular bolt pattern does not change. However, the ZX turbo T5 trans has a larger diameter yoke but the pinion flange remained the same.
