  1. I have that same flywheel. Did they they mention the circular shim that’s required to take up the diameter difference between the RB and L series crankshaft. You will need that. The bolt pattern is identical of course but I think you will want the shim to fill the gap difference on the crank. It’s a well made flywheel.
  2. Just curious on your suspension plans. What are you going to use for your front and rear strut’s? Factory or an aftermarket version.
  3. We’re here friend, today, tomorrow and the day after that.
  4. If it doesn’t work out with the money transfer to the off shore account I have a set. Just a backup plan if needed. 😂😂😂
  5. You can try a oil a rust penetrant like Kano Kroil or PB blaster and soak it. The other option is heat. Sounds like it’s seized on there.

To start it would be interesting to see what the pressure is doing when it’s fluttering and after t smooths out.

    Fuel pressure gauge??
  10. Just recently tried to pick up some fasteners at my local Fastenal. They recently started a new policy where there was a minimum $ amount of $25 for non-account holders. Not sure if this is corporate wide or not.

Didn’t you recently change radiator? I thought about asking you if the radiator was thinner, but seems like you would have noticed that much difference between the two.

Had the same dilemma ended up just grinding off enough metal so you can use the clip. Haven’t tried this yet but someone in this he past mentioned to flip flop the cables. You have to slip them out of the hangars to do that.
  14. Done business with these guys one time. They are third party and don’t have a whse. Asked the rep one day and he admitted not stocking anything local. Still check pricing but beware. speaking of car parts.com
  15. View Advert R180 3:54 1978 280z Differential Automatic Transmission R180 3:54 from my 1978 Automatic. Converted the car to a 5 speed and installed an R200 3:90. Owned this car since 1983 at 16k miles. The mileage is just over 100k before the conversion. Differential was clean with no apparent wear or signs of metal. I’ve included the pics for you to see. Before you beat me up on the pricing, This diff has had an easy life. Thought someone might be interested on finding one from a member that has history on this 43 year old part. Took it down to metal. Etching primer and paint. Nissan seals, gasket and drain plug. I did not mess with the pinion for obvious reasons. The shipping costs will depend upon location. Just thought I’d throw it out to the forum. If it doesn’t sell I’ll store it away. Thanks... John Advertiser Yarb Date 02/04/2021 Price $395.00 Category Parts for Sale

In order to purchase each bushing it’s going to be on an individual part number/quantity for each one. There’s a lot of research and digging around to find the best pricing. Most Nissan dealerships are close. Get online once you have the part number and go from there. It takes time and research. You will start to see a trend on suppliers and shipping costs. Good luck with your project. We are here to help you.

  19. Might wanna look for another candidate for rebuilding.
  20. The 83 280ZX o2 sensor is located at the tail end of the exhaust manifold near the exhaust pipe flange.
  21. Do you have the dash removed from the car? The pedals are replaceable without removing the dash. The boxes are identical for the automatic cars. I’ve done the conversion on swapping the pedals. It’s extremely tight under there but it can be done.
