New to me, 280Z...
It would be extremely helpful if you list everything that is not stock on the entire car. To this point the only thing I saw by the pic was an aftermarket fuel rail. I assume your inj. Dropping resistors are still in place.

How are you getting your fuel pressure readings and how were you able to boost the pressure?

Do you have a fuel pressure measurement reading after the fuel filter?

Help ID brake calipers
You need that spacer from T3. The spacer mounts to the hub then the rotor to the spacer. Should correct your problem. Never tried it without the spacer. Give them a call. They are extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Located in California. $130 a set.

Help ID brake calipers
Don’t know any thing about S12+8 vented caliper rotor calipers. My earlier post with S12W calipers that required a vented rotor has to be mounted with the Techno Toys spacer kit. The hub won’t align properly without it.

Help ID brake calipers
I installed the S12W calipers on my 78. Used 300zx rotors from stop tech. You need the Techno Toy spacer kit. You also have the nibble off a piece of the backing plate for caliper clearance. The S12W has two large pistons where the S12+8 solid rotor style has one large and one small Piston.

Door panel moisture barrier
Needs some help here. Removed the door panels prepping the car to go to paint and body shop. Trying to remove the black adhesive on the door where the plastic moisture barrier was installed. I’ve tried acetone, paint thinner and WD40. The WD40 is the only chemical that works at all but not very well. Basically turns into a slurry mess. Any help would be appreciated.

Steering / Suspension makeover 280z
Search car parts find the number google it. You will find a number of dealers that have them. My suggestion as I did was go down to the local dealer talk to the parts manager and tell him about your project. Chances are he will give you a break. Have the p/n’s ready and he can search. You won’t pay shipping . Worked for me over my journey. Educate yourself and things will come together. Do the research and they will take you seriously.

Front lower control arm bushing. Go to ZCD or MSA. They require a press to remove and install

Restoration of BringaTrailer 240z - HLS30-35883
Those trays were built for a 24 series battery. Height and width is the difference. You probably have a 34 series which is shorter. Had to put a thin plank of wood under the battery itself on mine.

Find as many Factory bushings that are still available. Try to stay away from poly IMHO.

OFFICIAL 280Z "Fuel Damper" thread!
Not sure about mounting it that far forward upstream only for the reason Datsun did it for a reason and that was to solve a pulsating issue. Will that increase down the line I don’t know. Never have been one that might create another variable down the road IMO of course
