  7. No worries, once you ohm it out you will know right away. These cars have a ton of connections and by the time youā€™re done you will have a good understanding. IIt takes time and patience. Record everything you check.
  8. What did you find out when you measured the links with your meter?
  9. If those are near the passenger side shock tower I believe they were for the factory AC system. Something to do with the vacuum solenoids/vacuum bottle. My 78 has them and they were not connected. Had the same mess you are dealing with.
  10. Not eliminate, I guess you didnā€™t understand what I meant. Meaning diagnose another variable in the circuit. As you know every connection on these vintage survivors needs a good visual and measurement so you can move on to the next step.

  15. This is not to be insensitive by any meansā€¦ Are you sure the G3 filter is oriented correctly with the arrow pointing to the pump. Itā€™s easy to get confused when gas is running everywhere.

@Captain Obviouscan chime in here, but youā€™re best bet is to put everything back together and go by what the folks here have recommended. Just because the po gave you extra parts you really donā€™t know the history. You need to have a baseline on troubleshooting and go from there. I wish you the best of luck. There is a way of getting there but itā€™s step by step.

This just came to mind when you were talking about a ā€œside winder hoseā€. Hereā€™s a couple of pics of a line that came with my fuel line kit from SS Tube. Hooks to the factory pump configuration but might work on other applications. You can order it separately and possibly continue on with straight hose. Just a thought. Good luck with your project.
