Would suggest that you or someone you trust that is near me contact me to set an appt to view the car, and we'll take it to a garage and get it in the air. Last thing I want to do is give bad/incorrect info. Have not come down on price ($8,500), but will consider reasonable offers in that neighborhood.

Listed on ebay and didn't sell. Here's the description from the listing: Car was painted in September 2002, the original 920 gold, with 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of lacquer at 52, 740 miles. What's been done to the car since June 2002: Seats reupholstered with new foam New carpet kit, door panels and scuff plates New heater core New plugs New clutch slave cylinder Fog lights installed with interior switch placed above hazard light switch New master cylinder, brake shoes, pads and calipers K&N air filter installed Front and rear shock tower braces installed Replaced horns New tires (Kumho) and wheels Replaced fuel pump New rear bumper overrider installed New alternator Weather seal on doors installed New gas lid flap installed Bumpers and door handles rechromed (no pitting); was not able to rechrome rearview mirror New MSA exhaust installed Installed new Kenwood stereo/CD player (with remote), speakers and rear speaker panel Installed alarm system with driver side door lock and keychain remote Installed Ignitor electronic ignition and FlameThrower coil Installed new 4 row radiator, fan clutch and shroud Installed new starter and battery New Grant rosewood steering wheel with matching shift knob and new boot installed Noted problems: Tachometer doesn't work. All other gauges including clock work. Have two spare tachs that I haven't tried installing that are included Heater control cables don't work Duct work to round, side air vents is missing, so only venting is with the fan through the central duct (or rolling down the windows...) Windshield wiper sprayer motor non-functioning Needs rear hatch seals Rear defroster (or switch) non-functioning Small paint chip on driver side front fender, a little larger than a pencil eraser Small crack in dash on top of tach Small tear in headliner on passenger side Rust: only surface rust noted under battery tray and under carpet (more on driver side than passenger side); appears minor Additional Info: Build date was October 1970. Original SU carbs in place. I have the original steering wheel, "D" hubcaps, plus other spare parts. Also have the original window sticker, invoice (came from Model City Auto Sales in Kingsport, TN showing a total price of $3,854.11), owner's manual and warranty and service booklet. Engine number is L24-017491 and is original to the car. This Z does not have a/c, but looks like it did at one time. Appears right front fender and possible door skins replaced at some point. Runs extremely well and tight; I bought it last spring and don't drive it enough to warrant keeping it. But, considering the low miles and condition, if it doesn't sell, no heartburn. Will restore when I have time and enjoy. Email me at scottp@carolina.rr.com w/questions or to set appointment to view. Reserve was $8,500; would like to get that obo. See gallery for pics or email if you would like to see anything I missed. Located near Charlotte, NC. Thanks, Scott
  5. If you were following the auction, the last bid didn't meet my reserve of $9,000. I've given the high bidder a second chance offer to purchase for $8,500. The bidder has 24 hours to decide, then it's up for grabs for $8,500 obo. Adding some detail shots to the gallery. Let me know if I can answer any questions. Thanks, Scott
  6. Didn't meet my reserve of $9,000. Guess I was being too optimistic on the value. Have made a second chance offer to the high bidder, and also emailed several people that expressed interest that it's for sale for $8,500 obo. Wanted to advise to this forum as well. Will post some more pics to the gallery of the areas of the car most serious buyers are interested in. Thanks, Scott
