a lot of good showing me these now, they would have looked great on my car

The guy i got them from has said they are from a RA20 or TA22 not sure. But when i first saw them i assumed they were aftermarket. I think they look much better than the standard bullet mirrors or Raydots we get here in South Australia. I can't say what they are like to drive with yet as my car is still in the workshop (Baremetal respray)

Hello all Finally after 12 months of looking I have picked up a JDM set of Fender mirrors, Not quite the Nissan ones but I think they look the part. They are meant to be off a 1970’s Toyota Celica but they don’t look as bug eyed as the usual Toyota fender mirrors. They cost $200 Aussie not bad since the Nissan ones cost over US$300 I am making my Z into a 432 lookalike so the mirrors should suit it well. LaCaRa

The main reason for the Digital clock is that the Analogue clock was flattening my battery when my car was not in use, After 2 weeks of not using my car the battery was dead.

The new clock needs the 12V from the Fuse box as well as the lights and Accessories from the fuse box. I got an old analogue clock and used it’s surround to put the new clock in. The 280ZX clock needed to be cut up a bit but with some careful work with a Dremel it fits in OK. The 280ZX clock has a stop watch lap timer. I have also removed the chrome side air vents and replaced them with the Italian style twin louvered air vents, like in the new S15 Silvia and DC5 Integra (RSX) I have taken a few Pics of my dash, It is out of the car at the moment.

This clock was used in some of the 280ZX's, I have adapted one of these clocks to fit in my 240Z dash, I was sick of the analogue clock running my battery down.
  7. Do you still have the Speedo? if so is it in KMH or MPH?

I live in South Aus and i have just put a L28 into my 240Z and you do not need to go through Regency Park. In SA you can put in a RB20, RB25, RB26, RB30, L26 & L28 Non Turbo's by just changing you engine number with motor rego. once you put a turbo in you will have to get an engineers cert and go through Regency Park.

I have had a Electric fuel pump put in and heat sheilding on the fuel lines under the bonnet. I got a factory heat sheild and had that put back on. I hope this gets rid of the vapour lock problems. Thanks guys

I have gone with the Crow 58640 Cam. It is a bit hotter than i had thought but seems OK for daily use. It just idles below 1000 Rpm but when you get to 2500 the car takes off. The car no longer likes to be started cold, but i can put up with that. I have had the workshop i go to setup the timing and they did'nt have any problems with it.
