View Advert spare tire cover This tire cover is in pretty good condition. It does have some small stains. I have other pictures then what I'm posting. it came off a 240. It has the rough side and the smooth side. It is almost flat, very slight bow. the weight of the carpet should strighten out the bow. Also have a Brigstone spare tire with a DOT code of 123. Plus a spare wheel with a date code of 12-70. Tire with wheel is $30.00. Will sell as set or individual. The well has a tire on it, but tire is no good. Thanks guys. I appreate your help. siteunseen has the best answer. Yes a drain of some sort. Yes the wide part is rubber that is flatened. The clamp is most definitetly not OE. The hose is quite old however. Just thought I would ask, Maybe it was one of those unobtainables. Maybe not!

Mark, Yes they are mirror images. Now that I said that, the mounting bracket may be on the other side on the second one, not sure however. Thanks, Ed

Zedhead, Good "talking" to you again. Yes, your correct about the timing marks being moved from the pully to a bolt on marker bolted to the timing cover. I'm sure depending on "left over" parts supply the change was made in '72. Some '72's had the marks on the balancer because of the above. siteunseen, The balance marks on the back side were done by the factory on each balancer. Not on the engine, rod, flywheel assy. That is something SOME performance engine builders do. Wally, Do you still need a balancer? Ed

Alexander, I'm sure you have adjusted the rod for length. Do you have the bell crank mounted the correct orintation? What about the pedl rod that goes through the firewall? Don't know how much you need , but that really does not matter as short is short. But the answer to your question is yes, there are different lengths. Your fix would be the way to go unless you are doing a concours car.
