I’ve reached out to the major engine builder here in NorCal numerous times with 0 response. Is anyone familiar with any other reputable shops around the Bay Area that builds engines? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Would you happen to know which specific washers those would be? I just looked through the site. I’d gather it’d be either the thick washer or the sealing washer. I’m not 100% sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello all, I’m in the process of installing my doors and it seems I have lost the compression washers. Does anyone know what size washer is needed or where I can purchase a set? I found a used set of 5 online, but I need 12. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. It’s a complete engine with all the pars except for the one missing main cap. I plan on doing a full rebuild any so doing having a machinist line bore the cap to fit isn’t a problem, I’m just having a hard time finding the one cap. I managed to get to engine for $500 dollars. 12. I plan on keeping this car for a long time. Maybe I misunderstood your statement. When you said you have an f54 block, we’re you referring to the complete block or just the mains? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m located in Northern California. I’d also plan on using a standalone ECU. Most likely megasquirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for pointing that out. I’m going to try do as much of the body work myself. I’ve pretty much have everything down to bare metal. Very MINIMA rust, and a few dents I’ll hammer out. I’ll be following the Haynes Repair manual. I’m trying to get plugged into the local community to try and learn as much as possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello all, I just picked up a 260z. Previous owner took everything apart and took the body down to metal. The car is literally a rollin chassis. My question is apart from doing the body work first, which parts should be installed in which order? My thinking was Dash-> Electrical> carpet-> interior trim> seats> steering column> pedals, gas tank, rear suspension> front suspension> hatch>doors>glass>engine/trans>exhaust. I’m just not sure what the order of operations are on this car. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
