My seats are not torn or ripped and not brittle or breaking. However, they look like the have dirt all over them. When they are wet with product they look fabulous. When they dry they go back to the dirty/faded look. Anybody have a good product they use on seat to refresh them?

thanks ya'll. The bolt that came with the kit has a 1" spacer built in to it. That might be enough to do the deed.

Would this be correct? I dont have my trim on so i am not sure if something else is supposed to go in this hole or not....the bolt does fit though.

I am just now installing these i bought a while back. the instructions they came with are junk. I was able to determine where everything goes but i ahve 2 concerns. 1. The retraction box goes behind the seat and through the floor pan. Isnt this a pretty weak spot. Did anyone reinfroce it? My pans are in great shape too and it still seems weak. 2. In image 1 you see the bolt that attaches somewhere up in the area of image 2. Normally i would put a nut on something like this....not sure if that is even possile. Has anyone else upgraded and solved these issues? thanks!

was just looking at the pilot bushing that came with the Fidenza package. Havent got the motor back yet but does it look small to anyone else.

ok. thanks. i will wait until i get it all back in the car. For me it seems easier to put motor on tranny outside car and put if back in than try to align motor with tranny already installed....maybe i am not doing it properly though

just got my 4 quarts of redline in. Went to loose the input nut and then took out the drain plug.....there was no oil in the tranny. So here is another stupid question. If trans is separated from the engine with the fluid leak out? Should i wait until i get the 2 re-coupled before i put new trans fluid it?
  10. finally got some good shim in. I put a tight piece in and got it set then slowly drilled a hole through where the bolt goes. Seems to have worked. thanks
  11. thoughts on valve cover. i am trying to keep car as OEM as possible but really like the powdercoated and chrome covers. Looking for opinions?

thanks. Got it ordered. should i put grease in everything around the sleeve and fork. Also this might be a good time to drain all the tranny fluids? Anybody used seafoam? been hearing thats good to use but what i saw said automatic transmission on bottle...i have a standard

All. sorry for the long absence. I just got my car back from the painter and my engine should be back in the next 1-2 weeks from the machine shop. In meantime i have my transmission and the exedy kit. Aside from the bearing do i need to wait on the engine to start replacing things. The bearing looks good and moves great...i am reluctant to replace it as i will likely mess it up

thats a lot of money.. how will this new upgraded flywheel and clutch affect the car? i assumed improved performance somehow or is it longer lifespan?
  23. Wally replied to Wally's post in a topic in Engine & Drivetrain
will do. going to machine shop tomorrow will take the flywheel too. thanks

decided to just rebuild my engine. have a machine shop guy i know who is helping me out for decent price. I took engine and tranny apart. I am wondering if i should buy a clutch kit. Nothing looks bad to me but i dont really know what to look for either.. any thoughts. is it worth 200bucks to do?

Thanks. this is the same place that sells on ebay, in Vietnam. So i dont think that is chrome, just very polished. If you look at images and video, the ebay ad has exact same images. Buying straight from them must be cheaper than ebay though. On ebay they cost $880. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-240Z-bumper-with-rubber-with-over-rider/274698161323
