Took about a month but got my new glove box insert i ordered. How did anyone else install? i am thinking i have to remove the AC unit in the passenger floor board area to get it to slide in around back? thanks

I am having regulator and windows issues too. I did some reading and one of the plastic "bushings" is a common problem. Some link replacements are below so you dont have to do any drilling out. I bought both of them to test out. OK. my 71 is a series 1...all OEM. I am trying to keep it that way but i really like the seats on series 2 and they recline better and easier. I am thinking hard about getting a local pair and installing them. I will keep the original ones though in case i every sell the car. Just wanting anyones viewpoints before i go buy yet again something else. Btw... will 260 or 280 seat identically swap evenly or are 240 seats distinct?

Apparently finding a 240z one of these is almost impossible. Saw or dremel of about half width of button 4. the bolt holes on this need to be extended. so just drill another hole next to original hole. Seems like a lot to do but for a 50buck new latch not bad.

Goodness.. i cant get my windows to roll up evenly. it tilts slightly toward front of car. Also it keeps popping of track on side near quarter window. I have taken everything out, cleaned and put back in tight. ANy advice? Does anybody have a video showing how to install chrome trim around hatch and windshield? Or any instructions or tools i need. Also, does anyone have a source for replacement pieces? Stainless is fine...just not wanting to pay $400 for one set...seems too high

i am still trying to figure out what goes over these sections bottom of the doors. One place told me they knew what i needed and sent whats in the photo, a section of vinyl. I can't believe i simply glue this on though, there has to be something that goes behind it?

i got them in...sigh. but now need them back out... what a pain. part of the issue is the bolts are not that great. Has anybody successfully removed the bolts and replaced with new ones with really good threads? Something is keeping the bolts in. My eyes are not great and i cant tell it they are welded in or something else

I have the 71 240z with series 1 seats, an adjustment knob... Seats were out when i bought car. I am now ready to get them back in. I have seat in with front nuts on. The back nuts are the issue. Taking into account the carpet its virtually impossible to even get one hand underneath to tighten nuts much less two hands. Anybody else have this issue? what did you do? I am contemplating taking off the back rest to see if that will help me a little bit.

This tube has been cut and not attached anywhere....any idea what its supposed to be doing? At right front.

I have out my back right quarter window on 240z. i bought all new weatherstrippings and put them on. Now it is Tight.... i am mean too tight. I have the weatherstripping on right and solidly. However, even with me pushing the window in with everything i have it still will not line up with the holes. I compared the weatherstripping with the OEM on my left side and its definitely thicker. Anyone else run into this issue?

installing a cd/mp3 player. for a wire controlled by terminal switch, meaning power comes on when you turn the key on.... what do ya'll use? Do you connect it straight to fuse block
