was taking off the water inlet and the bottom bolts head snapped off like butter. I hit the bolt with lots of penetrating oil and let it sit. got some vise grips on bolt sticking out and it snapped off. Drill small hole in center of bolt put in an extraction bit that was hardened steel. More penetrating oil. First turn the extraction bit broke of in the bolt hole. SIGH..... Any thoughts?

I just bought a new set of 4 Side lights. They came with this connection which i now see isnt on my car. Can anyone tell me if there cars have this connection and thus i am missing something?

Car i bought didnt come with a hatch lock. The lock i bought does fit and does work. If you have 4 notches instead of 3 that is. i tested it and it will hit the open latch, you just cant turn it right and lock it (it turns left. Thanks for the offer. Let me see first if i can just take a 1/8th inch plate and make that hole. If i can that will work.

ok got it in. It fits perfectly. only 1 issue. The rectangle hole in the brass plate needs to be vertical not horizontal. This will allow the key to turn right which is needed as that is where the lever to open the hatch is. I have tested and it will open. So this lock is viable. My metal crafting is horrid. If anyone else gets this lock and makes a new plate i would appreciate one too. Will pay for it.

I cleaned up the engine area really well and except for one small spot the black paint was still done really well. Also, i reconsidered rebuilding the engine for now. So i am not pulling it out. Therefore i am not re painting orange. Also, i am triaging everything as my funds are limited. So, not repainting. In future, i would like to repaint though.

got it fixed. put some teflon on plug. There was a small rubber O ring slightly inside. It was causing leak. Once i removed it and tightened....no leak

Has a good plug and seal...yet continues to slow leak. Any ideas?

should the resonator go inside the 2.5" pipe or on the outer side? I would assume outer which means resonator needs be slightly bigger than 2.5? yes?

thanks for confirming. its definitely related to the AC. I just didnt see anything like it in my Haynes manual.

I am not not sure about a rebuild. I broke everything down and tested along the way. I cant really find anything "wrong" so far. I just took off the valve cover to start inspecting.... any thoughts from image?

So i bought a Z that needs engine rebuilt, which i am doing. I only drove it a little prior and couldn't tell any issues with transmission. However, I am considering rebuilding the transmission too. SHould i go ahead and rebuild as i have most things already out or is it one of those don't fix it if you don't know if its broken things?
