Ok. Thanks. When the key is turned on, not to start the car. Just for power. I do get power to the coil. Both pos and neg have power. When trying to start the car I have power leaving the front of the coil. I am nit sure if I have a dead plug wire going from front of coil to dizzy. I tried to test it and will test it again. Ok I had sanded points before and no luck. Sanded top of thing that spins in the dizzy. Had no spark. Ok so I don’t need to buy a new condenser that sits beside dizzy. Maybe will try a new dizzy. Does it help to buy a spark plug test light?? Should I spin engine to see if dizzy is spinning and opening and closing points?

Cool. Ok. I am going to do all that. I have a few questions before I start. a. Will the points work for a short time without the condenser? Just for spark testing b. Will I get spark if I remove the ignition coil condenser ? Or is that needed for spark? I read I can run engine for short time without that condenser. c will I get spark with a bad ballast or no not?? D could the plug wire from coil to dizzy be bad? I tried testing it with test light and it would not let power through it if I connected test light to it then put one end to pos battery and one end to neg battery should my test light light up?? Or is that special wire in those plug leads ??

  8. FYI. I sent some money down to Cali. Via PayPal. The guy has not set it yet as he works from 7am to 5pm 6 days a week. Will he send it?? I hope so. He says it may take him a while before he can send it. It would take me like 5 mins to walk to post office and send. Will I ever get it ?? I hope so !!
  9. Have not needed one yet as I can’t even get wheel locks off. Once I get locks off i will get rest of tools to take other lugs off? will my 19v impact do it?
  10. I will use that one and hammer it on good. 00011100001111 0000111111009101 00000211112000111 Close enough - it will stick and turn the bolt. !!! You think they made thousands of moulds for every lug nut??? That would be insane. That’s the mr mageeee!! let’s take bets.
  11. I think this is it!!!
  12. he showed me a photo... its the gorilla key for the exact lock..... im thinking it will work
  13. Haaaa. I wish it was that easy. Mine are more like a key fit. I found a guy in dpan that actually has the exact gorilla key I need abs he has a spare. Hoping he will sell and ship to me🙏🙏🙏
  14. Good model. That’s pretty much what I need. Easiest way is to get the key. After that what is that? A huge socket I grinder slots into? One mistake and new socket.
  15. The splines don’t do all the way down the bolt. It’s more of a key fit then a spline fit.
  16. Thanks jeff... i have called Gorilla and sent them a photo - they will check if its theirs..... if it is - i will get a key - hopefully its the one!!!!
  17. I’d Grind a groove in it but I can’t even fit a grinder in there. Would a dremel work ?
  18. Do what with chisel? Cut a groove on top of nut and put chisel and hammer to try and spin it??
  19. Here 65083210319__F766BAB6-3F2E-4124-A326-11A5245DA33F.MOV
  20. It’s a 9 spline. I do not have a welder. It’s not a full spline down the whole length of long lug. It’s smooth like a cone most of the way then tiny grooves at the bottom. I have hammered a socket on there so bloody hard. Then tried to hammer the socket wrench. It keeps slipping off as it’s on a smooth lug. I will try to dremsl flat sides on the end to get an open ended wrench on. I would just like to find the bloody key. Not on Amazon or eBay or even in the 16 part key set.
  21. What will cutting a slit in it do?? these things have been on for like 10 years. I’m thinking dremnel two flat sides so I can use open ended wrench. But when I try to hammer down the device wether socket or whatever just bounces off. Hmmm can anyone locate 9 spline key? I have looked for hours
  22. Nope. That’s a spline lock. But the spline is not long. Like a 1/4 inch. So it’s more like a key. And it’s 9 splines or groves and I can not find any keys that are 9 spline : groves.
  23. This is brutal. Bought a mcguard. They sold me wrong size. Bought a deep 12 point socket. No luck. It had a 1/2 inch wrench fit I don’t have. This sucks
  24. no room to get a grinder in there... i read those bolt removal sockets dont work.. im gonna get aother socket that fits with 12 points inside,.. the one i tried was like a 5 or 6 point socket...
