what is this red blue???? used to have power all the time and now not...

No power at switch. I did always have power at switch. Are you talking here. ?? I always had power on red blue. But no power there now.

Ok. I do have a volt meter. You want me to see volts in wiper plug? When on? Off? Med hi?

only power to blue red.... no other power on wiper plug with car on and switch on med low and hi ... power will not show anywhere else on plug.. is it even possilble to test for power on that wiper plug by using a test light??

can wiper wiper switch wear out?? so there is no power coming from it?? i used to always have live power on one of those 4 wires soldered on to the side if stem above key area.... now nothing,,

yes.. i getting the honda motor over next few days... i just want to make sure my power is ok - if i have power to blue red with key on i get power to wiper motor..but do i need to see power at switch? how can it die from motor to switch? also - is there a way to test the other sppeds? are those wires in the wiper plug? if i turn to high speed should i see power on anther wire at the wiper plug?

ok.. i have power at the wiper fuse... i have power at the wiper motor... - is there more to it then that??? can i test the switch?? with test light in wiper plug for diff speeds?

i used to have power at the switch... but i dont see power there anymore.. but i do have power at the washer plug on the blue red wire... fuse is ok... my motor was not working before.. and i think after i took it apart and put together its in worse shape... i just want to know my power is ok so when i get a new motor it will work ok..

i am looking at the plug with six wires. I tried my test light by grounding it and probing all six holes.. no power with wiper on.. fuse is ok... what else ? am i doing something wrong? thanks

I have it apart. Which bearing are you referring to? Motor seems to spin ok. I have not opened gear side yet. White gear looks a bit worn. But my issues was clicking when I tried to turn it on. So power was there.

how do i get this motor back together?

ya.. thats my next option.. i have the motor out and disassembled.. not sure if the plastic gear in there is stripped... all looks ok.. now i need to put it back together... how do i get the 3 spring loaded magnets back in there....???? can i take the gear side of the motor apart???

the end of motor that hooks to wiper rods does not even turn.. we compared to a good one that spins freely...

74 260 wiper motor just clicks when i turn on the wipers.. i assume the motor is seized.. the motor is out and does not spin.. any way to get it to loosen up and SPINNNN???

I have a few that hAve broken I. Different spots. I think I found one just broken on top where rod goes. That one should work.

I have 2 that both broke in the exact same spot. Just above where rod clicks into handle. When it brakes there once screwed to car the handle pulls out of the door.

You CAN use a broken handle on the other side but I did not realize it will not fully hold the handle in the door. When pulled it will half come out and fells like after a few pulls and open and close of the door a few times it will break right off. Better to just get a new one.

Bummer. So how can I fix the broken side so I can use the broken drivers side in the passenger side???

i put in broken door handle from drivers side to passenger side,,,, it will technically work but half of the handle still pulls out of the door.. it wont last long.. its like a half arse handle .... im trying to jb weld it so it will work more like a normal handle..

door latch was seized and would not latch or stay closed... needed to take whole latch out and lube it like mad.. hard job as needed to take window from out to do this.. still working on re assembling door..

the door latch that holds the door closed ( maybe call the striker? ) is not clicking when i flick it.. it just springs back,,, therefor the door wont stay closed.. a) can this be fixed? is something jammed in the spring area inside the door?? b) is it broken and need replacing? c) how do you get that thing out??? d) also the plastic cylinder that holds the door handle rod will not go up and down.. its also stuck in place.. not sure if that is related to the no click action...

And then what. Just pry up window part a bit and slide big piece in behind ?? Not fully remove window piece?

They put carpet in mine to. Makes it way higher. Should I take carpet off,

Panel around small window is not out. I figured that would be another pain to get out. These are a pain

is there a special way to get this back panel back in without breaking it,... seems hard. is there a trick?????
