Hello all, not sure if this is the right section, but i thought I'd mention that I saw a 12/70 240z at the Pick and Pull salvage yard, in Dallas, this weekend... had complete engine with e31 head, drivetrain, carbs, ect.. forget about body parts (rust), but there's some stuff salvageable on it..

ok, I'm feeling dumb now haha.... why does my car backfire under deceleration?? I've heard its from running rich... I know that I am, but when I make it richer, the backfiring goes away.... anyone have any suggestions??

I know I got off lucky... I was just sitting in traffic and he just "bumped me" trying to get into my lane... luckily there was some room to my right for me to move the car as he hit me, or it might have been worse..

I hope so, I'd like to have a little money left over for my troubles..

ok here ya go.... before after

I just recieve a check for 2200 bucks....should cover everything... I had the body shop add extra....going to get the whole car cut and buffed to match(seems after there done it'll look better than the rest of the car, so they tacked it on to the estimate).....

there paying me out of pocket.... I faxed them an estimate, and theyre sending me a check... I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the check, but I have email copies as back up incase they don't pay.. and I'll take it to my insurance.... I have full coverage.. I just sucks cause there were some track events coming up that I may have to miss... The tire rubs on the fender, so I can't drive it as is....

I think mine looks better than that one.... but to each his own

damn Semi's in the fast lane!!!.... stuck in traffic, and this semi, that was in the far left lane, decides he has to be in my lane....he can't see me becuase of the large blind spot(which is why trucks in the fast lane are illegal in mosts states, except Texas). I'm just sitting there in traffic, and he crunches the left rear quarter panel!! did about 2100 dollars in damage.

I'm going to try and make it down there.

i'll buy one if you resize those pictures hahaha.. j/k let me know when you can get one made, I'll buy it...
