is there right side mirror for the 280z (LHD), similar to the one come with the car as on the left side? I want to make them as one pair (one set). Is the RHD one the same as the LHD one in shape/style?

does anyone have a copy of a 1978 280z wiring diamgram that can send to me through e-mail? I just bought a used 1978 clymer repair manual, but there is no wiring diagram. I need it to figure out what did the previous owner did to the car, messing up the instrument lights and the horn (he installed an alarm system, there is no diagram for the alarm neighter). I can't see the engine and car speed at night, plus, I can't honk on those reckless drivers--dangerous. I really appreciate if anyone can help.

is the 350z seat too big? how much is it? anyone?
  5. you should not need any shim/spacer for the caliper. I bet the spacer thickness of 0.5" is not correct. you should compare the thickness of the rotors to calculate the right spacer thickness, not the "hat height". assume the thickness of the rotors are the same at the hub mounting area (not the braking surf; the area where four holes are), the thickness of the spacer now should be ="the new rotor thickness" - "the old rotor thickness", and then divide the result by 2. if this still can't get your new rotor center inside the caliper, you should mount the caliper (without pads) and the new rotor in place, then measure the offset. the offset should be the distance betwteen the center line of the rotor (the center between the two disc surfaces) to the center line of the caliper. this should be the spacer thickness that is needed. hope this is not too confusing. i think you should be able to figure it out anyway when you are installing. I want to do it, but it will cost me around $150 to get the remanufactured ones from Kragen for both sides.

it says 8/77 on the body, but on the back side of the hood says 1978 model year for emission control stuff. what year is this car? what year should I reference for parts, service manual and other specifications?
  9. my 280z steering wheel shakes starting at speed of 50mph. if i do 80 or 90, it become stable again. any ideas? could it be the wheels unbalanced?
