well i guess i'll just have to see what happens once i use the car as a dd. ^^ btw, Lotus Europas are beautiful cars. My father had one totally restored when I was younger, one day maybe I'll get my hand on one of those too.. I like how you can put your cigarette out on the road by sticking your hand out the window.

I guess it will be okay for me to use as a daily driver. Another thing is that I will most likely not keep the stock engine, or the tranny. I am most likely going to drop an engine from one of the turbo Zs. Well anything reliable, powerful Nissan engine. Im hoping to get a little bit more reliable car with a more present engine and tranny.... although the 240z engine with no computer should be a lot easier to play with. Well Im off to looking at couple Zs. Maybe I'll pick it up if it looks good. Thanks for your help

well I would love to have the car as a weekender, but if I wanted this luxury, getting the 240z would be out of the question. I need to make the car into a daily driver, otherwise i really can't get the car. Any opinions from people using the car as a daily drivers??? What they do to keep the car in good shape???

How many people actually use their Z as a daily-driver ??? Do you come across any problems, or do you find the car reliable enough to drive as a daily driver ??? I'm in a process of getting the car, and i can't stop thinking about the car and what I'm gonna do with the car.... but I'm worried that I can't use the car as a daily-driver, which has to be done, as I can really afford to get two cars, but my mind is just so set on getting a 240z. Any help and suggestions appreciated (except for telling me not to get a Z :classic: )

thanks for all the info. Looks like most of you here are from Australia.. It's a hard decision for me to make tho, because I love the car in original condition, but at the same time, i would like to add A/C, Power locks and alarm, and a sound system. But it would look so out of place.

Im looking to get a 240, but I may end up with a 280 just because its so much easier to find, and I have found couple potential 280s that i might buy. Just wanted to know how much work/$$$ is required to get the 240 front/rear bumper look into the ugly 280 bumpers. o wow, i didnt realize it was such an easy mod. I still can't decide whether to get a Z and fully restore it into original condition or **** that and enjoy the car.... I've been looking around at some cars, and I want to have a Z but the end of the month... nwayz thanks for the info

hey, Im looking for a 240z rigtht now, trying to find a running car with a decent body that I can fix up. Anyways, is there anything in particular that I should be careful about or look out for when buying a 240? It's pretty hard to find 240s and may end up with 260s or 280s tho, but the ugly bumper on them will be replaced asap if i get those year cars.
