hope to have the z running by spring i was delayed getting new fuel lines by 3 months which stopped the projected date of the z running by late 11/09.so will have to wait till spring no heat in the garage. will be ordering alot of goodys with all the gift cert.any suggestions on exhaust systems from motorsport i want to keep it stock except for the tailpipe.thanks carl h

i have both tanks a 71 and a 72 they are both the same tank i dont think a 70 would be any different . carl h

i bought brake lines 6ft pcs at napa auto 5/6,1/4 ,3/16 connected them and bent them they came out great.aslo bought rubber hoses to fit each size ti the gas tank. thank carl h

i am in the process of replacing fuel lines and vent hoses are there any diagrams of 240z from front to back of car including firewall, please include pictures if possible, thanks carl h

i will be doing my glass front and back was there any tools to put back the trim. i heard to use a hair dryer or put the rubber out in the sun for a while. any thought on that from anyone. carl h

i just did my today the bushings are 18mm on a stock sway bar. carl h

i replaced the bushing on the rack and pinion is there suppose to be a gap or are the brakects suppose to be snug

Iwill be 57 this june started my love affair working at a datsun dealership in 1969 in high school.i drove tr6 ,datsun, fiats cars all the time back then just loved the 240z the most graduated in 1971.first bought a 1972 240z in 1979.than owned 3 parts cars.bought the 71 i have now back in 1984 i am in the process of restoring it 903 blue with a blue interior,began restoration early 2007 .just cant part with this car since its a71 and i graduated in 71 so it will stay in the family for a long time. a funny story back in 1990 i was driving my z on a winding back road 530am doing about 85mph and a cop stop me .told me to be cool driving he did not give me a ticket because he also had a 240z and know how much fun i was having.just thouhgt i would share that story because we all know how great it is to drive these cars.thank to all z owners for this moment carl h

i am painting my z with 903 blue from restoration paint and i just scuffed the clear off the old paint then sprayed with 2 coats of blue,only the engine well and door jambs where done so far been almost a year now still looks pretty good, look under my user name katcarl1 for pics

i have a wire harness with gauges in great shape with fuse box asking 250.00 plus shipping. i have sold items on ebay look under carsdatsun for my profile i tryed to send pictures but it is asking me for a security profile

tailights look great,was the chrome in good shape alreadyi have to do my back lights also ,i feel like i am looking at my car on your site its kind of neat. does anyone have or know of anyone selling series one blue seats or any color series one seats,i can always order blue covers.
