no, it wont make it back to l.a. it is knocking really bad. like most restorations, it will need to have the engine rebuilt. good thing is thiugh, the head was rebuilt about 500 miles ago. it has 130000 miles on it. this IS a really nice car for the money, considering the amount of money and time i invested in the brakes alone... run! i bought my 280 for 750 bucks! california car with no rust and no dents! original paint is great! and runs and drives like dream! 2000$ ? that guy needs his head examined! (the one on his shoulders, but it sounds like the one under the hood could be bad too....)
