  1. but not the whole problem. your best bet is to get a good brand mechanical gauge and then you can really see whats going on. if you do just for shits and giggles get a mechanical even a cheap one to check out whats happening, you will see whats going on for real. you just might be surprised. MSA sells a spring kit for the oil pump to bump it up a bit. get yourself a mechanical gauge thats reliable and personally i wouldnt trust a guage that is 25+ years old. if you just want to see it move buy yourself a new sending unit

you can sometimes find them on ebay as well. only problem with ordering them from overseas would be the shipping coast as im sure it would be some kind of outrageous. i did a search on google and there are several places you can get them from. http://www.skrperformance.com/Site/RS%20WATANABE.htm this ones in japanese http://www.rs-watanabe.co.jp/index2.htm they are around just gotta look for them
  8. making the cold air intake is no harder then buying a piece of 3 inch mandrel bent piping and hooking up your k and n filter to it. the exhaust should preferably be 3 inch all the way back into a straight threw design, like dynomax, or magnaflo, magnaflo has a nice straight threw design with dual tips that looks pretty damn good. piping as well for the exhaust should be mandrel bent if you can afford it. http://members.cardomain.com/jayz240 nice to see another ZXT member heres my page of my car
  9. but i did notice that 2-5 are the wrong plug. 1 and six seem to be the right plug. you did get yourself some NKG BPR6ES plugs right! ngk is the only way to go in these vehicles

my girls dog, well according to guy rule number 4 if its not bigger then a football then it cant be concidered a dog. so it actually isnt. in any event the dog loves rides, cant get enough of them and it hangs its little head out the window with tongue flapping in the breeze. it is a priceless site. just to think how nice it must be, all ya need is food, love, a warm place to live and a yard to shyte and wizz in and your happy.

maybe you shouldnt have gotten that car. one thing i will tell you if you can resist is not to up the boost. once you do you will be totally addicted, and want more and more and more. great find though just the same and cant wait to see some pics of it. hope you enjoy it for a long long time.
  13. larger 2.5 or 5mph bumpers, more emissions, stronger parts, ie door frames and more reinforcement, more accesories. sound deadening. just this and that hear and there. the 240Z was a bare bones strictly stock sports car. no luxury what so ever.

the only thing i can verify is that i know for a fact that the T5 can handle that much hp, i cant say for sure that the nissan tranny can though.

buying one of theyre cams, they have been around a long time and that is what they do and do best. they have a great product. id buy
  17. for an overall great driving car and autoxer i would go with the 3.90. you cant beat it with the 77 5 speed, its a great combination. as like 2many said with the 4.11 you will have a few more on the tach with the 4.11 but the accelleration will be outstanding. if it were me id have to go with the 3.90 just for the fact of it being an all around great gear ratio with the transmission you picked

i know though for a fact that the T5 can handle up to about 450 hp i dont think you would have any problems with the nissan 5 speed at all

i dont see you having a problem. if your having trouble bleeding the brakes though it might be that your rubber brake hoses have collapsed. its a hard thing to tell but then again new lines arent that expensive and niether is the assurance.
  21. hehe they do great work its just very expensive:ermm:
  22. the Z31 motor will NOT just drop in and bolt up. sorry to say but it wouldnt happen. also for the little power gain it wouldnt be worth the money that parts for it cost to rebuild. ive found several nice L6's with many miles on them. ie nver seen a Z31 V6 that had high mileage that didnt need some sort of work, unless it was very very very well maintained.

that with the low compression will give you some of your acceleration problems as well. if you ar going back to turbo then i wouldnt worry about it. if you plan to stay the n/a route then the first thing i would do is buy me some nice flat top pistons to up that compression
  24. i think you will be happy:classic:

they say that they have them. they also say that for the 70-71's had a metal fan blade and they list it for 64.10 the 72-73 they say had the plastic fan which they list for 75.34 just in case you were wondering or still looking for a place to locate one
