Z32 Lust
except maybe from the bank. hehe:stupid: i can feel your pain i love the Z32 and that was going to be my next purchase, but when i found out how much it costs to keep the car, maintain it, and fix and get back up to schedule what someone esle might not have done. well that put me off of that car for a while. if you can afford it go for it. make another spot in the garage and get yourself one!

Triple Webers or Dual SUs?
but there are certain persons using the dual su's extremely well as in low 12's in the quarter the su's will make great power if they are tuned properly. as will the triples you need to make sure that you have the car to run the triples. if you have cam some engine and head work i would go with the triples if not stay with the su's ease of use and tunablity with them will be your friend.

ive figured that if anyone could make something like that better you could and well you have the base template to work from. i think it would be great:classic: the thing with this module from bravenet is like you siad its limited but it is a good starting point.

maybe others could sign up and we could get enough maps or one person, hehe, could pay worse thing is i cant afford the little bit of cash that they want its only 9.95 a month, and you get to put a 1000 entries. i wonder if our glorious leader could come up with and or make something like this so it could be a permanent part of the site i think that would be a really great thing to have here any ideas on that anyone?? one other note GAVIN i FINALLY got to see your site. looking good and so is the car:love:

Clutch Issue?
ACT or CLUTCHMASTERS, also a cheaper solution if you havent done this already would be to go with the 2+2 or turbo flywheel and 240mm clutch disc and pressure plate. much more area for gripping and the turbo clutches seem to have a lot more clamping force.

? Centerforce 1 or OEM Clutch? Which to Use?
then my choice would NOT BE CENTERFORCE. ive heard and seen to many horror stories from them. ie not holding up to pressure, not holding together, exploding clutch discs and the like. not that this is always true and has always happened but it has happened and in more then enough instances that you couldnt give me a CF clutch. if you dont want to go OEM, then i would choose something better imo, which is ACT or CLUTCHMASTERS, and or EXEDY's new DAIKIN line.:classic: my advice stay away from CF, they really arent all that!

Engine Rebuild Advice/Info
just hook a battery up to it and crank that som bitch with the starter. it will work and you will be able to get your compression readings. from there you will exactly know where you stand. if you do or are going to be doing a rebuild irregaurdless, i would most definetly use nissan crank and rod bearings, have the block and the head cleaned and decked for good mating surfaces. have the valves and seats done. there is just so many things but you can go from there. its more of what you want out of the engine and what you want YOUR car to do. others im sure will chime in as you add more information

What brand of tools do you use?
MAC and KOBALT. i found kobalt tools to be of equal if not better quality then mac in most instances. that is till this year when they changed there line and now you couldnt pay me to buy a set. its a shame to see a quality tool go to crap like this set did.

4-speed to 5-speed
if you have a 72, if you do have a 70 or 71 what you could do and what i did was modify the shifter instead of cutting into my rust free Z:finger: to me thats the only acceptable thing to do:love:

Motorsport cam failure?!
as well. where the hell did all that metal go:cross-eye id ask them about this problem and if they would gaurentee against my engine failing and or give me something to compensate failure due to the loss of theyre cam metallic substance running threw my engine. talk to them about it and see what they say. id be interested to hear how this all turns out.

crane cams are good as well as iski msa will not gaurentee the cam unless you bought the whole kit.
