How Much are you guys Paying for Head Work?
You can expect to pay anwhere from 150 for some clean up to 1000 for a full job on a head. It all goes with the area and work you are wanting to get done. I think for the price that bambi got from Rebello you cant beat what they did.

What about 40's?
They look great sound awesome and are a nice addition to any engine bay. Now if you dont have the cam and head work needed to use them your one, throwing your money away and two, wasting gas. At the same time as with the prior post, you will get more out of the triples, but why spend the money for a small gain. Its the same with an FI engine, you dont need more fuel or larger injectors unless you have more engine to use it. On another note, the su's can be made to put out great power as well. Point in fact is on person I know thats running 12's in the 1/4 with a 2.9 dual su motor.

260z intake manifold
That is the casting number and they are said to give you a little more. Though you wouldnt want to use the boat anchors that came with the 260Z unless your doing a full on resto. Stick with the earlier carbs.

Vibrating shifter
Get yourself a set of brass bushings and end the problem forever.

88-89 R200 Lsd
The R200 LSD your seeking is on the 4/87 - 89 300ZX Turbo only. It has a finned rear cover with both horizontal and verticla fins. If you look through the LSD meaning the axle shafts are off of it you will be able to see straight through it. 250 is a very good price for this unit.

Japanese Domestic Market
I talked to the owner of the site via the internet. His name is Nuyen if Im spelling it correctly from memory, really nice guy. Hes a Toyota GX71 fan. He didnt mind but rather would like people to come visit his site, reason for putting it on the web to view his pics. I told him of our site he said he would take a visit. He also pointed me to some links of pics that I could dl here of some really nice Z's. what was funny is one of the sites that he pointed me to had the west coast nationals posted on it. He has a laugh as he said he didnt understand the reasoning behind some of the American modifications, then pointed me out to the pic of the 4x4 260Z. Great guy to talk to. Well Ill have some more pics to dl later.

Japanese Domestic Market
I have asked that these pics be removed as I dont want the site getting into any kind of trouble from me. I had checked into it and those few pics are copyright protected. Also you were dead on about the location of the pics, they were from an event that was at Sagamiko, it does look very beautiful though, a perfect setting for a car show. Thanks for making me pay more attention and looking into those pics. I hope all that had a chance to see them enjoyed them while they were here. If anyone else wishes to view those or more I can point you to the site from where they came. Thanks again Alan for the heads up.

Getting Ripped in shipping?!
I just shipped a ECU, wrapped 4 times over in bubble wrap and then padded on all sides with popcorn styrofoam. 2 day priority mail was like 9 dollars. Im sure this item weighed more then the dimmer switch, this was with insurance and delivery confirmation and tracking.

Japanese Domestic Market
It seems that Ive gotten some mixed reviews of the recent pictures that Ive posted in the member galleries. Some like, some dislike. Im wondering if I should even post the other 20 pics that I have. Dont want to start a problem, I just love all the older style japanese cars, and its something that we dont or didnt have here in the states. Me personally I love most cars, just wanted to point out the difference in that era of styling with different japanese car makers and well some cars that I really like. Tell me what you guys think, Im only trying to share the wealth.

3 10" subwoofers.... any design ideas??
If you know anyone thats good with making molds for fiberglass, this is something you could do. Get two molds, one of each side of the rear panels. Then build those panels out some away from the rear quarters, angle them at about 30 degrees toward the front of the car. Cut your hole out, brown bread or however you want to do it for sound proofing. Put the third inside the spare tire well. You end up with a very clean looking install and plenty of room.

Lound Electric Fuel Pump.

Marcus Ambrose
The Classic Adelaide (I think I cant remember I was to interested in all the fast rides) They raced a 3 or 4 day course around au starting and returning to Adelaide. It was fantastic, some really great cars, and some great racing and driving. You have to love it when you hear the navigator go OOOOOOH $^!#!!!!!!!!!

Rear End Clunk Noise
More then likely the dreaded clunk is the diff mount and or Ujoints. Most likely the ladder. Just lift your car by the diff, support it with jack stands and blocks in front of the front tires. Start the car or have someone else do it. Gently ease it into gear. Take a look and see whats happening. Unless someone did a conversion on your car it more then likely will have a R180 open differential. One legger. Good luck

Engine Bay
It was in my favorites:( I dont know what happened to it. This is what I call one of my most favorite Z's of all time!
-
Rear end Clunk
for me at least is to raise the rear of the car and start it or have someone else do this and put it into gear to see whats going on. One of many things it could be, diff strap, ujoints, shafts, diff mount. One other thing, if you choose this route please be very safety cautious as you never know what can happen.
