I have a trip planned for the 13th (to the 24th) of August to Japan, and was wondering, are there any Z related events or places I should go to while I'm there? Thanks,

2manyZs is right, goo-gone is a good choice. I've used it in a number of applications from removing price sitckers off of Laser Disc jackets to cleaning off the gum that holds the tail light lens into the housing.

I had the same intake on my Z with a 290 CFM 4bbl carburetor. The L24 in mine had pushed considerably less cubic feet per minute than the Holley could deal with. So, I hope that's a bored and stroked L28, you got that strapped onto. I replaced mine with a pair of 71' SU's. Engine is much happier now. I recommend straighting out your spark plug wires and putting them on a loom. Crossed wires can jump sparks to the wrong cylinders. Very clean engine bay otherwise. -
The hood doesn't look it took paint like the steel panels. Is it just the way the camera captured it, or am I seeing it the way it is? -
I have considered shaving off the side marker lights and moving the front ones (and reducing their size) to the space above the Datsun logo behind the front wheels. This give me a good idea of how that would look. (GREAT). This beast deserves a carbon fiber hood. Nothing but good things to say about this Z and the quality of your workmanship. (y) -
You attention to detail is outstanding. I really want to get my Z in this condition with this engine. A little more complicated for me, since I'm in the USA. I'm not even on the west coast. -

The 5th Annual Texas Statewide Datsun/Nissan Auto Show is set for Saturday September 20, 2003 and will be held at Rudy's BBQ in Round Rock. With several sponsors on board already and the 1972 240Z that will be raffled off, this years show is bound to be a sucess!
