Gas Tank and straps should be gloss black. Gas tank drain should be yellow zinc.

I've found that the easiest way to deal with dim dash lights is to simply replace the bulbs with stock. 30-50 year old bulbs are indeed dimmer than new by a LOT.

While the cooling fan can be seen on the microfiche parts film I have yet to see one in almost 50 years as a Datsun/Nissan mechanic.
