AMP Meter deflection at idle
Does anyone have any idea as to why my amp meter fluctuates and all the lights brighten and then dim repeatedly when at idle and then it dissapears when I raise the engine rpm? My first guess is a combination of alternator and voltage regulator. Am I on the right track? Please help me!!!

Income poll...
I fall into the middle catagory. I am a manager in Retail Sales and just bought my 72 Z. It is in pretty good shape for a 31 year old car with a tight motor. No smoke one small leak so far and some rust that I hope I can get replaced with sheet metal before it consumes the whole car!

Fuel tank hose leaks
I just did this job on my 72 Z and got all the fuel lines from NAPA auto parts and got a six inch spring that fit snugly in the 5/8 line and have not had a problem since with fuel vapors in my car but I still can't fill my tank more than 10 gallons so I am thinking that one of the vent outlets on the tank is plugged:angry:

Turn signals
I have read a couple of replys where guys are rebuilding the T/S switches. Is there a step by step write-up that explains it for those of us who are electrically challenged? I have all my lights working except my turn signals and dash lights. I also have a new flasher. The hazards work fine just not the dash or T/S. any suggestions? TIA David

Fuel Supply
Has anyone tried to repair a small crack where the fuel supply 5/16 tube comes out of the tank? If so how did you go about it. I just got done replacing all of the vent lines and fuel lines up to the metal fuel lines and after I got done, I went and filled up the tank with only 12 gallons of gas... and found the leak. I might have put about 4 gallons of gas in to get me to the gas station so hopefully it is only a leak now:( Any help you all could give would be appreciated. btw, the tank looked real good inside David

If someone else knows, please speak up Thanks for the responses David H '72 240Z Sill stock but working on it?
