  1. Ah, nice! Hoover at Turbohoses tuned it. 209whp and 207 torque. Pretty fun to wind it out for the first time in a while.
  2. Dude, that was fun! The brown one is mine! Went out for another break-in cruise along the coast this weekend. Tuning session coming soon.
  3. Appreciate it! It's a Godzilla Raceworks product. Solid shop.
  4. First drive in 13 months. There's so much great info in this forum. A lot of the credit for the milestone goes to you.
  5. Finished removing the factory EFI and added new engine and fan harnesses today. Also mounted a new FPR.
  6. Thank you for this post. Swapped the screen for fiberglass cloth and treated it more like a layup, but I used this epoxy to bond everything. I'm happy with the results I'm getting.
  7. I've been doing some work on my plastics lately. JBWeld Plastic bonder epoxy bonds to the plastic nicely. I'm using a combo of that epoxy and fiberglass cloth rebuild voids and to give breaks and cracks a little extra reinforcement. It's super messy, but it's also strong and I expect additional longevity out of the parts. With this solution, you could work on the back side of the part for minimal refinishing.
  8. Today, I reassembled my intake manifold and made vroom vroom noises.

Hello! Kicking around some ideas here. Anyone experimented with wood veneers on interior components in the Z car or others? Mainly interested in adhesion/finish durability over time. Also curious to know of any installation techniques. Probably going to grab some throw away plastics to experiment with at some point this year. Thanks for any inputs... realize this isn't super common.
  10. No problem. Ctrl-F works. I used Adobe Acrobat to scan/recognize text and build the bookmark/link structure. I haven't put it on my iPad yet, but I have no reason to believe it'll give me problems there. Edit: Made a few changes to the formatting of the internal document links after saving it to my mobile devices. New file is uploaded.
  11. Hello all, New to the community. Just uploaded a digitized 1978 280z FSM to the downloads section. I wanted to make some of the files other users have uploaded more useful to me and thought ya'll may appreciate access to it as well. It's not perfect, but I think it'll work fairly well for most. Thank you to users 240260280z, bglaesmann, and Captain Obvious. I digitized the 1978 FSM. Cover is created by bglaesmann and the FSM was submitted by 240260280z. I consolidated all the files into one pdf and adjusted the numbering scheme to match the manual. The text is searchable and most of the important sections and subsections are linked and bookmarked for easy navigation on a tablet or smartphone. The color coded wire diagram submitted by Captain Obvious is included as an attachment. Hope it's helpful.
