i would like to know if the wire wheel are the basket type of hub caps. Could you send a picture. My car came from the dealer with wire baskets and they are now missing and i would like to replace them. Thanks Looking for a z

That is the spacing i need. How much do you want for the bar and dose it come with all the mounting hardware? I looked at your picture but could not tell what kind of shape the bar was in. Is it in good condition , very good or excellent. Can youdiscribe the condition. Thanks Looking for a z

hi, I have a 71 datsun 240z with a build date of 7/70. Can anyone tell me if their are two types of override bars for the rear bumper. I purchased one on ebay but it will not fit my bumper. The car had one installed by the dealer but the last owner sent it out to be recromed and never received it back. The one i bought on ebay won't fit because the mounting wholes on the bars wholes by the licence plates have a center spacing of 10 3/4 and my bumper has a spacing of 9 3/8 can anyone help? thanks looking for a z

Hi to all that have answered my question. This is the latest on my end. I went in the dash through the heater control panel. It was not easy but it was the best way to go in. I removed the guage and fixed the lense. Put the guage back in and also installed a new oil pressure switch. The results i get now are as followed. I get 20 lbs. of pressure at idle and 70+ at 2000rpms. Please let me know if this is about right. I would also like to thank everyone for their help. It is nice to have some where to go for help. Axtellz Thanks for the info. MY guage reads 70 when runningdown the road but when at idle it is at 0. I have enough oil in the car but am afraid to drive it untill i can fix it. I am new to the z thing it took me two years to find the one i was looking for. I don't know much about the z i have been working on mustangs for years. Can you tell me a good book to buy on the z. In reguards to removing the guage . I don't know if i could reach the guage by taking out the glove box my oil guage is the first guage by the steering wheel. Is there an easy way to test the guage? Can a nos guage be bought any where. Thanks looking for a z

hi, to all I was driving my 71 240z today and the oil guage is fine while driving but when you come to a stop at a light the guage goes to zero. I have plenty oil in the car and i checked the connection on the sending unit it seems fine. I did notice that the glass on the guage is loose and it you tap on the glass the guage will move. How do i fix the glass in the guage and how do i get to the guage. Is the glass my problem with the guage or is is something other than that. Please help i am new to the z car. Hi, I am not really sure that sounds like it. I don't have the car yet it is comming from cc. I was told that the box goes under the dash and two hoses go through the fire wall. The car had dealer installed air and is a 1971 240 z. Do you have a picture that you can send me? Thanks Looking for A Z

hi, I just bought a 1971 240z. The car had dealer installed air. The only part of the a/c system that is missing is the distribution box under the glove box is missing. thanks for the info. The owner is 67and told me that the wheels were on the car when the car was bought new the car was his wifes mothers and has been in the family since new. It has had some work done to it by a company in co called wheels ot time, llc. I talked to the guy that did the work on the car. He said the car is in awsom shape. I am now waiting for a inspection report by a company that i found in autotrader. Do you know of a web site that would have pictures of the factory wheels. Also how can i get my hands on dealer installed a\c unit. How do i attach pictures? thanks, Kevin
