What is the hardest to find early Z car part?
I was going through some old piles of parts in our shop and came across an early NOS Braided upper radiator hose still in its original bag. I had heard these are hard to come by and it made me wonder what is the most difficult part to acquire.

The customer bought the motor prior to all the posts on Classic about Datsun-Parts, LLC. According to the ad the cam is a stock regrind.

HELP! All Mechanical Eliminated- Wont rev past 4K
The throttle is opening all the way. We did get his prior motor running past 4k, before we put in this new motor that he bought from Datsun-Parts, LLC. It was assembled with a hodgepoge of different year motor parts. We have now tried to advance the timing more with some success but there are still issues. Mike my partner has been working on Z's for 26+ years and this is definately a strange one. Just about every tip suggested here has been tried and more.

The Good Side
Pounds and Pounds of bondo came off the car. Metal pretty thin in some areas. Its going to be a race car though and only needs to be a 60' beauty. With good body work it will look nice

Whole front interior
We painted them with a vinyl paint as close to the original tint as possible to freshen them up. They were in pretty good shape just discolored. Art

Blue Piping
The MSA kit was sewn a bit unevenly, my upholstry guy couldn't stand it, so when he fixed it he added the blue. I like it.
