Picture of a Filter sox I found online. I think I'm going to order 2 ram stacks and then try to make something like this. Some aluminum sheet metal and see if my old man can TIG something up. Slap a 3" universal KN on the end and I think this will be badass. Going to be awhile have a 73 and just bought some SUs so still need to figure out how to rig this up.

Before I call could someone first explain what exactly is a sock filter so I don't sound like an idiot. I figured it was just a foam type filter that fit's over the horn. I didn't think KN made foam type filters. I willl call them. I was thinking also this could work if I took the filter out of it's housing and zip tied it to the horn. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HKS-3-BLUE-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-FOAM-AIR-FILTER-F1-TUNNEL_W0QQitemZ7996250625QQcategoryZ33659QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I don't think KN offers this type of filter. I was thinking about getting 2 longflo replacement elements $5 each and zip tie 1 on each horn. I could have sworn I seen a race car with a setup that looked like this. Would this work?

Where can I get a sock filter for these Ram Pipes?
  8. Great thanks.
  9. Yes it does have a circuit diagram on the side of the relay, but it's not with me right now. I tried making sense of it but was confused. I'll do a search to see if I can find any info. Thanks.
  10. I need to wire a 5 prong bosch type relay to my aftermarket fuel pump. The relay is a 12V 30/40A It looks like I should have: 1 wire to the + 1 wire to the - 1 wire to the fuel pump and 2 wires to the ignition But what wire goes where? The relay has a: 30 85 86 87 87a What should I connect to what? Thanks.

Thanks for the help. Just going to put in dot 3 or 4 right now. Once I do my brake system over I'm going to go with some Dot 5.1 probably.

My brake fluid is a little low and I want to fill it up but don't know what to use. I don't know what is in their right now so what is safe to put in? Dot 3, 4, or 5? This winter I will be doing the entire brake system(lines, big brakes, rotors etc.) so I'm trying to be cheap right now.

Does anyone have any experience with Picklex 20? It's "A combination metal surface cleaner, surface rust remover, 100% rust converter (including mill scale), conditions metal and provides a conductive metallurgical protective coating for long term rust protection, all in one application." http://www.ashjentech.com/picklex.htm Is there a BETTER rust converter/remover out there? Thanks.

Thanks guys for all the help. Do you think this will work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3041867428&category=14934 This harness and relay look just like what is wired to my pump right now with the five wires.

The aftermarket pump thats in there right now is a 12V 2.5-4 psi pump. The flow rate is not marked on the pump so I don't know what that is. Can someone advise me on what amp relay I should get? The one that was in there was 16A. I have found a 30A for $26 and a 40A on ebay for like $12. I am confused on the amp ratings and don't know what to go with. Thanks you guys are great.
