I agree with Victor, and stand behind Mike 100%. Kudos to you for taking the time to make owning a Z just that much better!:classic:

Could you patent it? Oh, wait, Nissan already owns it, right?:stupid:

You are right. I also am buying a cam from MSA. Stage II. Has good idel, and the powerband is from 2500rpm to 5500rpm. My auto shop is also going to port and polish the P79 head and do a valve job ( what ever that is). With my bottom end set up with the MSA pistons that have a raised dome for higher pompression, I will also have to buy a 1.0mm head gasket. I'm looking at paying around $2,400 in parts and labor alone. (that is not accounting for all the other misc. parts i.e. timing, freeze plugs, gaskets, oil seals, etc.) I say good luck with whatever you decide to go with. You really dont want to overkill the cam choice. If I'm not mistaken, getting a higher cam would hinder you from driving it daily. p.s. Don't forget the Header :classic:

Mike, I would like one also. (I don't even have a liner:cry: ) I will try to pm you soon with my info. Thanks :classic:
  7. I think they need to get their nose out of Super Street! 10 to1 the person didn't do anything to the engine. All that weight in bondo, plastic and junk! What a waste! :tapemouth

No offense taken, Carl. The charcoal or gunmetal color would look very sweet. You will have to post a photo of them when they get painted.

I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks

My oasis has showered me with wizdome once more. Thanks for the info. I really like the wheels, and dont get me wrong, I love originality, but that is a really good price for a SET. They wouldent come with tires for that price? Would they.....:cheeky: Thanks again, Carl. PS. Now I know I might be going on a limb here, but would the "Honda" spacers from Modern Motorsport work with these wheels?

So, I guess I just got the two mixed up. That is really good news. Thanks Ekustom.

Here is the other shot looking through the hole. Notice no 5 bolt holes.:tapemouth

Here is a very bad photo of my diff. The # are as follows: A: 38311 B: P9000 I am just wouldering if I got hosed. The guy I got it form says it is a R200 diff. but I looked at a photo of the two and this one dosen't have the 5 bolt holes on the sides where the shafts go in. As I looked closer, I see a piece of metal going vertically inside where the shafts meet. Is this LSD? For my info. ( dont want to pull the diff. off of the car just to put the same on up) Thanks. I will post photos. (bad ones)

I think that you can't go wrong with the real thing. Watanabes. I see Victoria British is trying to keep up with the 8-spolk rim design. They look so fake. I got this photo from Wat's website. This Z is one hot car.

Was that one of yours, Mr Camouflage? I have been meaning to ask you... What cartoon is your avater from? I assume it is a Z from the tail lights.

These where taken at the same time. Notice I "tried" to stop the rust, but now, after bondo, it cracked. The guy I got the car from had speed tape on the doors to cover the rust. Now the tape has peeled off and makes the car look ugly. New doors are in order. Should I go with just the skins or whole new doors? The insides are good, but the striker on the pass. side does not work well, and the doors don't lock. I had planned on shaving the doors and putting poppers on. Security is one thing, but when you can't lock your doors or your hatch, it is time to think of other ways to. I'd really like to put a popper on the hatch. I might have to anyway? The 432 spoiler looks like it goes right over the hatch lock. Does any other nissan/Datsun retailer sell locks for the doors and hatch? I would assume they come as a set. They would have to use the same key. Thanks. ps. photos are in the next thread...sorry.:sleepy:

The bumper was like that when I got her. The front was bad also. They were the first things to come off as well as the hood. If you look in my gallery you can see photos of what she looked like and how she is now. Photo "Me and the Lady" was taken 3 weeks ago. Not much has changed sence then. I want to put my fender mirrors on, but I need new fenders also. It is killing me. I guess patience now will be rewarded later. Thanks for the info, Abas.

I'd be interested, but I'm all the way here in Florida. I'd really like to know what the body looks like. (rear panels, and front radiator mount section.)
