Painted Valve Cover
I did not like the gold paint I put on this one anymore. So I got this image in my head of what it might look like with flames down it.

Headlight wiring
In your last picture Prox, you can see that it says TOYOTA. No where on the box does it say Nissan/Datsun. I am not sure what to think about VB. They have such good prices, but the people who work there is another chapter. I got my freeze plugs from them and the bag was 2 plugs short. I had to pull the ones I needed off my spare block. Some of the products they sell look cheaply made as well. IMO.

Turbo Is back on
Now all I am waiting for are the other gaskets and the timing parts. It might be able to drop in a matter of months!

Exhaust manifold back on block
I decided to go ahead and try it. I will be running stock boost for a little while until I get the funds to upgrade the engine. Then it will be an HKS gasket.

L28ET head gasket problem?
I went back to the parts store and showed the guy there my holes were being closed off. He says that it would be alright and that he uses all Fel-Pro gaskets in his car. "Some of the holes need to be blocked off so that the coolant circulates." I hope he is right. This is my first rebuild and I don't want anything to go wrong having waited all this time and spent all the money just to have detination and distruction to the engine. Here are some of the pictures I just took of it. 1) The block by itself 2) The block with the gasket on I hope you can see what I am talking about. Thanks.

That is a funny show! But what about Spongebob and Patrick Star? They are pretty strange. In one episode they play superheros. :rambo:

L28ET head gasket problem?
I don't see why they wouldn't. It is a turbo F54 block and P90 head. When I tore the head off the block during the begining, the gasket shredded. I could not get any numbers or even a product name. (I assume it was a Nissan one) The ports I am conserned (sp) about are all the small ones in the front and a couple that run down the sides. I'll have to post a pic later to clearify what I am seeing.

L28ET head gasket problem?
I called Nissan up and the parts guy said to go ahead and use it? I guess I get to blame him if anything goes wrong.

L28ET head gasket problem?
My new Felpro head gasket came in today. When I placed it onto the block, a lot of the oil and coolant passages get blocked off. I have another one for the E88 head and it does not close as many holes as the turbo one does. Is the turbo gasket safe to use with all those passages closed off or should I use the E88 one? I'm confused. The package said it was for my engine? Thanks
