Opinions/Knowledge on Triple SU's
I find it odd how people constantly regurgitate the info. shown on that website and yet, as people have mentioned, there ARE other Inline 6's that run triple SU's and some people even know other's personally that run them, it's a completely viable option. The GTR-XU1 Holden Torana's that ran them were not slow by any means. I have a manifold that I would be willing to sell but it needs to be tidied up, as it's put together pretty shabbily and both int. and exh. manifolds don't fit on together due to the int. manifold needing a little bit shaved off it in places.

My new 15" Mags on another members Z
They look good, you should get some 245's for the rear if possible, I have a set on some SSR Longchamp XR4's at the moment and my brother tried them on the rear of his 240Z and they fit fine, with the offset of your rim and the flares your planning, I would think it would be a good idea, then run the 225's on the front if possible. But, looking good, good to see Glenn's car again too.

Hey, there used to be a beautiful and appropriate power buldge on that bonnet, it seems to have been replaced by some kind of hideous monster!!!

Just to share the Datsun meet pics!
I spied yourself and your fantastic truck amongst the pictures there Stephen, it looks great, I'd love to have one of the wee buggers myself, maybe one day, if I can find one in NZ and it isn't completely rotten. Oh yes, there certainly is a decent collection of nice Japanese cars here in NZ, it's due to the fact that NZ never really had it's own make of cars, we used to manufacture some a while ago (incl. Datsuns) but none now and most the cars you'll find on our roads are Japanese, if you're interested there's a couple of pictures of my car as well as some of various other Datsuns on www.datsun.co.nz/phpBB/ under the "Member's Rides" section. Also, if you'd like to see some examples of NZ Rotaries there's some from one relatively recent event here; http://www.jascoautomotive.com/missionbay12-12-04.htm

Brilliant site, I also enjoyed it thoroughly, nice to see such collections of fine Japanese motorvehicles all in the same place, good stuff!

new c110 owner
Welcome Mike, Nice to see another C110 enthusiast around, and from the US! not the usual place for such vehicles. I noticed you made mention in your cardomain page that you're ditching the "stock L28" the GT-X never came with an L28, sooooooo... that's not really true FWIW the stock GT-X came w/ a Twin SU'd L20.

Hayashi street fins J-town
Dammit! If only I got the ones that were up for auction, they went for too much for my pocket though, but they were the same dish as these ones. Curses! They look good painted up properly.

The latest addition to my Skyline collection
Slightly cheaper than what I paid! Ahh well, mind you, I don't mind considering the quality and scale of the model normally sell for closer to $100 depending on the car, I got mine for less than half that. $40NZD.

The latest addition to my Skyline collection
Kyosho are the best for scale & detail, they make the Ebbro ones look a little shoddy. I'll take a picture of the rest of my cars and post it in a bit.

The latest addition to my Skyline collection
Well, here it is It even comes with little metal pieces for the badges and the option to make it into a race version with a bucket seat, a different set of more Laurel like grille and tail sections and the option to use either standard steel wheels with hubcaps OR Deep dished Speed Star MkIII's I'm Lovin' it!

Pmc.s
Razor, I think you'll find they've simply incorporated the acronym in the naming of their club. Pretty Magnificent Cars . Skylines :classic:

Pmc.s
Razor, those are brilliants paintings, I've seen more of those around before. WOuld look great on the wall of any enthusiasts house or.. at a stretch garage.

Yet another tire/wheel question
Brandy; if it helps, a 195/70R14 is equivalent to a 185/80R13 with a 0.3% difference in rolling circumference.

Datsun 240RS origins and history
Excellent to know Alan, next time I talk to Nelson, in Dunedin who owns the ZG (who I still haven't managed to find the time to go see again  ), I'll let him know as he also owns a genuine 240RS. I'm think he may well be interested in the CD

Datsun 240RS origins and history
James, I believe the line in the advertisements etc. was "Datsun, by Nissan" as opposed to the other way around. I thought I had an advertisement here with it on but no luck thus far in finding it, I'll keep looking though.

Excellent Alan, thanks for the clarification! I had thought as much and may have even asked you previous, I certainly hadn't read that thread before though, so thank-you.

Yeah, to be perfectly honest I couldn't tell you exactly, I figured it was either Prince Motor Company Sport(s) or Prince Motor Company Skyline being it's the font/logo that was on the rear quarter of the Works C10 race cars.

My problem - odd nuts!
Could always just carry around a cross bar wrench that has the four different sizes on it? That's what I do, because I have locknuts and the puzzlenut is a different diameter to the standard lugnuts.

Im in the market for a C110 Coupe!
Inter-country out of the question? I've just come into contact with a guy who knows a guy who had 2 Hardtops for sale (at least, he did when he last spoke to him) I'll hopefully know soon whether he does or not and could possibly pass on the contact details if you would be considering such a mission of an overseas shipment (from NZ).

My problem - odd nuts!
Ok, so one of your nuts is bigger than the other, is that a problem fitting wise or are we only talking aesthetics?

Email Notification Not Working???
I can't help with the lack of photo comment notification but... You won't necessarily receive all notifications for addition to a thread, if you read any of your previous it states; But then again, if you haven't been getting any at all... I have no idea! Just a thought though, incase you hadn't noticed that wee part.
