  1. They are called SSR GPO's They look almost exactly like Racing Hart Type C's
  2. Thanks again Lance. That's the only thing in my way of installing my complete drivetrain and getting this thing back on the road. I'll keep you posted. Cant wait. Saro Fagerian
  3. Thanks Lance for the reply. So it is possible that the sand went in from or arund the plate area? Any special way in removing the plate? Because I remeber that I had taken all the bolts out from it and had a hard time trying to get it out. It wouldn't budge. Also, any methods on how to flush out the transmission to clean it out? Thanks again. Saro Fagerian
  4. I recently took my transmission to a local sandblasting place to get the front bell housing sandblasted and I think some sand might have gotten into the transmission. Is this possible? The only part they sandblasted was the front bell housing which was still attached to the rest of the transmission. But Everything else was covered. The way I figured out that there might be sand in there is because when I move the shaft by hand it sounds as if there is sand playing around as it spins, easy to spin too. The only place where I can think of it going through is from inside the housing behind the throw out bearing there is a plate which I had removed the bolts from but not the actual plate itself. I really dont know but my questions are, is there a proper way to clean out the transmission without taking it apart? And also, The plate inside the bellhousing between the housing and the throw out bearing, does that have a gasket or does it just bolt on? Sorry for the long story, I just wanted to have all the details for you guys to understand and maybe help me out Thanks in advance to all Saro Fagerian

Check out this japanese site I came across on the internet. They have amazing parts for S30's. Take a look at the exhaust manifolds, compare that to what we have out here. It even has a helpfull Q/A page on how to purchase and ship. Enjoy. Saro Fagerian LINK: http://www3.ocn.ne.jp/~kyuusya/index-3.htm Go to "L Engine Catalog" tab on the left for Z parts

Does anyone know the weight differences between the different year 240z's? I know that they did get heavier as they got newer but dont have actual numbers to see the differences. Smog issues, bumpers+brackets etc, obviously made a difference. Just wondering how much. Also, do different L24's weigh more or less than others or have power differences when it comes do driving experience. E31 vs E88? Thanks in advance. Saro Fagerian
  9. Its on right now. Its called on demand so I can always go and click on it and watch it over and over. They change the show every three weeks or so.
  10. I live in Glendale Ca. and have charter as my cable provider that offers on demand which has a show called Magrack. They have a special on japanese sports cars that runs about 13 min long that goes into a brief but detailed video about the Toyota 2000gt and the 240z. For those who have it you should check it out. Just go to your on demand channel, then go to more on demand, then scroll down to Magrack. Once you open that section look for auto access click that and go to import tuners. I think its a great show and who ever has Charter should check it out. Thanks Saro fagerian
  11. repost sorry zzzzzzzz
  12. In my opinion, I believe that the Top gear guys always tend to hate on Japanese cars and not test them properly. Clearly that silver 300zx twinturbo had some type of modification to beat the other red 300zx twinturbo. Not to mention a 260z running 14's and keeping up with a 350z. As far as weight goes, its true that cars are getting heavier but the 300zx is heavier than the newer 350z. So that clearly defeats the purpose of the test. Cool video though. Its nice to see all the Z's running together even if it wasnt accurate.

We used to have a download section that had a picture editing software that would help me make my images smaller to post on the site. I cant find it and was wondering if we still had it somewhere here or if someone knew what it was called so that I could download it. Thanks Saro Fagerian

The piping looks similar and the exhaust looks like what im refering to. I hate glass packs and think with a dual outlet exhaust it might sound pretty good. Hey Proxlamus, If you take the piping to a muffler shop they might be able to bend the piping up alittle after the dif so that it can have more clearance. Thanks Saro Fagerian

Would it be good to get the twice pipes mainly because of the piping and putting my own choice of muffler on it? Does that sound like a good setup? I like the fact that it has two individual pipes but dont like the idea of a glass pack. Is it possible, has anyone done this before? What are the pro's and con's to a setup like this? Thanks Saro Fagerian
