I am putting my engine bay back together and was wondering if someone could help me out? When I removed the breake servo (booster) before the restoration, it had a silicone seal that the previous owner had put on the firewall were it meets the booster. My question is do I need to apply a silicone seal or any type of seal to the backing of the booster were it meets the firewall when I reinstall it? Thanks Saro Fagerian
  2. How deep of a scratch can the bead blasting take out? Not a bad idea. Thanks Saro Fagerian
  3. Is it possible to order a new bell housing for my 4 speed? Does anyone know of a place that they might carry it? This is really just for cosmetic reasons so that when I put in my engine in the bell housing will look new as well. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the info, I wasn't aware of this. Saro Fagerian
  5. This hose goes from the valve cover breather attachment to the air cleaner. It is in excellent condition and looks brand new. This is a perfect part for a restoration. Make an offer Thanks Saro Fagerian

  7. Thanks Guy's for the helpful hints, but I am redoing all the lines with new ones that I ordered form the local auto shop and they are not copper. Personally I think that the copper ones look real tacky and wouldn't even consider them. As for the Line I was referring to before, I decided to eliminate it right at the end of the transmission housing because It wasn't even connected before the restoration and it didn't give me any problems. The new brake lines and clutch lines are a dark green color and has zinc plated connectors. It came out better than I thought. Thanks to all of you and especially to Victor for all the help. Now I'm just finishing up putting everything back together so that I can put the engine back in. Saro Fagerian
  8. Do you have a pic of where it is attached to on the engine?
  9. So now that I have no emission stuff where will the Flow Guide Valve connect to after it is attached to that line? It looks like ill have to leave it mounted but not attached to where ever it is ment to go. I guess I should ask where do the double outlets on the Flow Guide Valve connect to?
  10. Thanks for the quick reply. All of my emission parts have been removed and my question is can I eliminate it or somehow cut it right under the tranny tunnel? The reason why Im saying this is because all my lines are new and thats the only one that is old and looks worn out. So if all my emissions are removed is it possible for me to remove this line as well and cap it? Thanks Saro Fagerian
  11. I am redoing the brakelines on my 240z and came across one line that seems to be for fuel but dont know for sure. Its much thicker than the rest, it comes out of the tranny tunnel and runs on the driverside all the way up towards the ignition coil. ould be for smog but not to sure. Can someone help me with this line? Thanks Saro Fagerian

I am interested in the headers and was wondering if you would know how much it would cost to get them jet hot coated? Also are you flexible on the price? Thanks Saro Fagerian
  17. No prob Andrew. Did you ever find a cap for the fitting on your search for one? I guess now im on the mission to find the proper threaded plug for the housing. I remember when I bought freeze plugs for my block it came with some small threaded caps, maybe those would work. Oh well. GL Saro Fagerian
  18. I have one in perfect condition. This thing looks almost brand new. Its on my 1970 L24 (e31) that is only a straight thru piece. I think 73's came with a "y" shaped one with two outlets. Any way I am going to remove it because I am not running water to my carbs. Reply to this post so we can discuss how I can send it to you. Hope this will put an end to your search. Saro Fagerian
