Thanks for the help guys, but this engine was taken out of the car and has been sitting 10 years. I am not going to start it for maybe another month but I have already started to get it prepped by taking out the spark plugs and spraying a good amount of WD-40 in there. Also removed the valve cover and sprayed a good amount all over the cam and valves. Im letting it sit so maybe it will help loosen wherever it needs to. Im all out of ideas and was wondering if I need to take the oil pan off and lube the crank. It has 10 year old oil it so I know before I get it going Im gonna have to change that as well. Do you guys recommend putting a little Auto tranny fluid with the new oil to help clean it up or not. If so how much and how. Sorry for writing so much but want to make sure that I get it back on the road and join you guys and gals in all the fun. Thanks

I know that in general dropping a car you would need to get a camber adjustment. I don't know if it is possible all around or not but that is what is need to get your tires sitting flat. If you check with the more experienced members they might be able to tell you where and how to get the camber adjustment. Hope this helps.

I might be wrong but usually it means that the front sidemarkers,emblems and any other object is removed and covered up so that its seem's as if there wasn't anythig there. Some people like the way it looks, it all depends on you. If you are looking for a Z to keep original I wouldn't consider the one your looking at. It still can be converted back to the way it was but it requires alot of body work. Hope that helps.

Sorry SER I just sold the front Air dam piece and starter. But everything else is still available.

The voltage regulator is almost new and is in excellent condition. I do have the valve cover but it has paint on it which could be stripped with paint stripper. It looks good under the paint tho. I have a 4 speed manual tranny for sale that came out of my 240. make an offer im in Los Angeles.

I am going to try to start an l24 that has been in storage for 10 years. I have seen posts like this in the past but couldnt find it. What do I need to do to prep the engine to get it started safely. The engine ran very strong before it when into storage so I hope it will continue to do so after I get it going. Sorry if this has been asked before, but its always good to get advice from people who have failed/suceeded in the past doing what I am about to do. Thanks guys

I have a 73 240z and was wondering if any one knew if the car came originaly with the diamond shaped vinyl around the transmission tunnel, or was it carpet like mine? I've seen the diamond shaped ones around the tunnel and think it looks better but would like to know whats factory. Thanks again

Im trying to indentify the pipe that sticks out of the block located under the exhaust manifold next to the distributor. It looks like its about six or seven inches in length and has another small pipe coming out of it. The reason why I am asking is because the smaller pipe comming out of it is loose and has play. Should I JB weld it or does the complete pipe come out for me to change? Thanks to all the pro's who can help.

Today I went to look at a 1970 L24 and was unable to identify what type of head it had. The only thing that I noticed was a stamp on the block saying E31. Does that mean that the head is also a E31 or ....... Can some one help
