Yeah, let mine sit compressed for a good while. Still too high🫤 Any idea what years of Kia sportage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hatch weather seal that doesn’t suck?
Bought the rear hatch inner seal for my 72 from MSA. Bought it there because their description says “after years of not carrying the hatch seal, we now do because this one is good blah blah” FYI, it’s made by precision. Nothing special. And the hatch now sits like 3/4 inch proud above the body. Way too thick. And I’m having to force the hatch closed. They shouldn’t be stocking this item. Feel like I got ripped off. Anyway, I think my only other option is Vintage Rubber. Anyone here use one yet, and how did it fit? Pics? Thanks[emoji1360] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone using MSA performance springs? Got pics?
Didn’t get any traction with this post in the suspension section. Here goes… Im looking to lower my 72 Z, but not looking to go with coil overs. As far as I can tell, the most common options are: 1. Eibach (not low enough for me and squatting issues) 2. Vogtland (similar to Eibach) 3. MSA performance linear springs. 4. Cutting OE springs (not my first choice, but a choice to get just the right height) My guess is that the MSA springs are the most agresssive drop you can get from an off the shelf spring. Any opinions on this? Anyone with the MSA springs that can chime in with pics/experiences? Fuel pump eccentric on a 2.8L
Oh boy, that’s not good to hear[emoji51] Can anyone weigh in on this? Anyone running regular SUs on a L28? Here’s my setup. Like I said, still going through the previous owners work so be gentle [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Closing lock? Can you elaborate on what that is? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fuel pump eccentric on a 2.8L
Haha, I don’t believe it’s ever been started in its current configuration. Doubt the pump would run off the cam bolt head like that [emoji23]. PO just slapped the carbs and mechanical pump on to have it appear “complete”, then sold it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No electric pump. It’s a 72 240z with a L28 that the previous owner dropped in, but never fully finished, as I’m finding out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fuel pump eccentric on a 2.8L
I have a 2.8L that’s been converted to a mechanical fuel pump. However I popped the valve cover off today and found that no fuel pump eccentric was ever installed.[emoji849] Is the eccentric the same for 240z, 260z, 280z? If so, anyone know where I can find one? Anything special about the install? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Choke delete?
Currently cleaning up my engine bay of anything unnecessary or obsolete. Would love to have 2 less cables in the way. If there’s really no downside, I’ll remove and plug the hole in the firewall with a rubber plug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Choke delete?
I live in sunny Southern California. It rarely gets below 50 degrees F where I live. Currently working on getting my 71 back on the road. Right now I’m going through the engine bay. Maybe a dumb question, but can I simply remove my choke cables and run without? Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
