  4. There are cracks on the dash, needs and upper shift boot and rear interior panels, all of the gauges except the voltage and clock work. All lights (turn signals and brake lights) work. There is actually a piece of metal on both rockers (was there when I bought the car). I can have more pics up later today.

I did a compression test yesterday on my 240z and it was this: #1 - 180 #2 - 177 #3 - 180 #4 - 183 #5 - 180 #6 - 184 The #3 cylinder compression came up slowly (over 10 revolutions) compared to the other 5 cylinders. When the car is running I can pull the boot off the plug of cylinder #3 and there is no rpm change as there is with with the other 5 cylinders. The engine does not run smooth but it is not irratic either; the engine also runs well under acceleration. I am also getting a spark from the boot to the plug on cylinder #3. Do I need to check the timing? I don't understand why the compression is good across the board but it seems like the plug in cylinder #3 isn't firing. Please list any suggestions you have. Also the front 3 plugs (1,2, and 3) are almost fouled out from the front carb running rich.
  8. Thanks for the help and yes I would like to see a picture of your setup please.
  9. First off I have searched and read as many posts as I can about cleaning the connectors on the turn signal switch but no answers to which I'm looking for. My right blinker works fine (lights up on dash/front signal light/back signal light) but my left blinker only works on the rear signal light. When the blinker is in the left position I can hear the flasher working but the light on the dash and the front signal light does not work (doesn't even come on solid). When I flip the hazard switch all of the lights work (and flash) on the dash, front signals, and back signals. Anybody have any clue?
