280z Steering Rack Options
Speaking of that, I plan to powder coat my cross member. Is gloss or satin the closest shade to original? My control arms are aftermarket and look gloss. I may go with that.

COVID-19
I was contacted by the VA that vaccine is ready for my classification. I am driving down to the Milwaukee VA Hospital on Monday to get the 1st of 2 shots. No one knows when the second will be available but I think it will be a very long time.

Why this forum is unique
That is good to know. I think he was the main reason many left that site. The problem as I saw it was the site owner did not own and the moderators did not moderate. It was a free for all $^!# show some times.

Jerry. Did not know that was your old car. Sweet. Were you say the 3rd owner of the car? So Les did not sell it in 2017 when it was for sale?

Why this forum is unique
I usually found in the past that Hybrid Z and Zcar.com had a few A-Holes like that Viper forum and others. Mainly why many people quit those 2 sites as I myself did. Hopefully they are better now. I think a lot just went to FB.

Recent from Sports Car Digest
Mike. I knew it. I knew it. I just knew it. They just cannot let it rest. I suggest unhappy people contact the author at SCC and vent to him. I think I will go back to my Packer Bears game now. I am out. One of these days I am out for good.

Brakes work but pedal is soft
I also had this same issue. Was driving me nuts. We took the booster off to attempt to open it up. It was then I could hear something loose. We shook it and this rubber disc falls out. I'm going what's that? I had to go to the manual to find out where it went. Reinstalled and put everything back together. Wow what a difference. Back to normal again. Was very happy. Don't know why the boosters were built with that piece installed loose and not fixed in place. Could have save many owners lots of trouble.

The Vogtlands are not progressive if that is what you want. Eibachs are.

Bleeding Troubles
I have done this many times now. This is my best method I have found. First get fluid to bleed out the master cylinder bleeders. 2. I then open all 4 wheel bleeders and let gravity push fluid until they start to drip fluid. 3. Then close up. You can then usually get the air out with the normal pedal stroke method. Unfortunately if you try to adjust that rod like you mentioned, it usually lets the reaction disc fall out.

Winter storage. Got the car up on stands and pulled the battery. Snow begins tomorrow here. Not much to see I guess. I will add another from this Summer.

Using Toyota S12+8 Calipers?
Any one here have the Toyota solid rotor S12+8 caliper set up on their 240Z? Do you like them? I finished the install on mine. Going to try them out. Should be back on the ground soon. Removed the backing plates instead of trimming. Need to finish the bleeding.

"77 Z issues with KYB + VOGTLAND lowering springs
Took a photo. They are a bit smaller diameter but work. Most buyers likely never noticed. Vogtland really did not do a good job of making them the correct OEM diameter.

"77 Z issues with KYB + VOGTLAND lowering springs
I got mine from jdmwerks too. They fit well on my 72. That black spring looks really big wire diameter. Is that supposed to be stock? They look heavier than the Vogtlands. To me anyway.
