Head held high!
I live up here in Snow land and have some good friends that live in the South. I like it down there as well. I did not support those that want to remove all the Statues of people of the Southern Heritage because some were "offended" at having to view them. Now we need "safe rooms" on College campus's complete with care bears and other stuffed toys. They call it protection from others micro aggression's. Things sure have changed since I was in College.

Head held high!
Being a Veteran, I lean certain ways on some issues. However I much disliked both candidates this last Election. I am an equal opportunity disliker. I do like Guns though!!!

I have TSB's for Scanning
I scanned a 3 page TSB into a PDF file. Being from 1975 its a bit dirty. I would like to clean it up a bit. I can do it with a JPG photo but not sure I can do the same with a PDF. My photo editor does not do PDF's.

In Sioux Falls, SD inspecting the "Twins".
I worked at an electrical company for years located right across the street from Pierce. I watched what seemed like weekly plant tours for prospective buyers.

1972 Z Brake switch / valve
On my bucket list is to remove this valve assy. totally from my system. I see no need. I want separate piping direct to both front and rear. Next owner can do what he wants.

‘73 brings 29k in BaT auction
My favorite is that interior with the dark green paint. Very hard to find. Seems not too many made.

72 OMS Pace Car F/S in NY
Carl is correct. This was not claimed in the ad. I read this too fast. If these 50 clones were just paint only over an otherwise stock Z with the front and rear spoilers then not much added value IMO. The original pace car was modified according to Carl's website. To what degree we don't really know, I guess. I suspect they put some goodies on it from Datsun Comp Department. The blue color on this car does not even look like the blue on the pace car shown on Carl's site. This one looks like the BRE blue to me.

72 OMS Pace Car F/S in NY
Agreed. Same here. One reason I posted it was to get opinions. Even my red interior is way better than that one. Owner began restoration. Ha. Then finish it. I would not even list it until it was finished. Even then no $50K for sure.

water spots in wax question
First do the wash job in the shade, if possible, then dry car with towel. I have found this mostly deters those hard water spots. Have not done this on my Z yet, but on my daily driver I experimented by mixing car wash soap (any brand) and a small handful of automatic dishwasher soap to wash car. Wow, cleanest result I ever got. And it seemed to soften the water as well, which helps.

help with battery hold down
I always use the 24F as well. Never did like the positive that close to the fender. I have a hold down just like yours that I bought off Ebay years ago. It did not have a 90 degree bend. It was made in two pieces and welded together to make a sharp 90.

Dilemma 240z orange
+1. I did the same with mine. Their Napa red looked like a perfect match.

Overheating after modifications, what am I overlooking?
I had an different overheat problem years ago. Around town the temp was normal. On the highway it would stay normal until I went any speed over 60 mph. It would easily climb to 3/4 on the gauge. I finally decided to take the radiator to a shop and see if cleaning would help. He called me back when he got to it. He had hooked it up to test flow percentage. It flowed only 35%. Only a re-core would fix that. He put a triple core in it for me. What a difference. Drive as hard as you want and temp stays right at 1/2. Was pretty expensive though.
