My LUG NUTS are stuck, how can I get it off?
Good tips on greasing them up. When I got my Z back about 6 months ago I had a nearly impossible time getting the lugs off. First I tried the regular 4-way. No good, still stuck. So then I broke out the breaker bar to get them off, still stuck. So at this point I grabbed one side of the 4 way and my broither the other. The 4way was bending but not even moving the lugs. Finally I got the air gun and set it for 150 pounds. It STILL was not moving at all. At this point I got the breaker bar again and was standing on it now. Still not moving and just suspending me in the air. I am no small guy either coming in at 6'2" 225 or so. Eventually hitting it with the air gun again finnally broke it loose, but now I think when I put them back on I will go the grease route. SuDZ

Carbs not liking me
Well here is the deal. I was removing the carbs with my father. I was labeling the hoses as I took them off A B C D etc. Well I went into the house to take care of some things and came out to find out that he removed the rest of the hoses without me. But he didn't label anything, just removed them. Thanks Dad. The issues I have now are two things. 1. Does any of the 260Z owners with the stock carbs have pictures of how the lines run for me? Any pictures that have some decent detail to let me know where everything heads would be so great at this point just to help me track them down a bit. 2. I am noticing that as I am looking at the carbs that some places like the ports leaving the carbs are different sizes. For example onthe front carb the coolant line that run to carb 2 is bigger on carb two than on one. So the hose doesnt fit right that I measured out at the store. Is there special tubing I am supposed to use from Datsun? Or do people just use the bigger hose and then clamp down the smaller side harder? I hope these question make sence and any help would be huge at this point. Thanks SuDZ

Trouble finding rims
I am pretty much skipping that idea now. But I did kind of like the wheels that are on zcarpart.com , the "Racer" wheels. I am not sure though how they would look. I am trying to look around for pictures on the site but not having much luck so far. SuDZ

Trouble finding rims
Okay, I had a deal come in that someone has some Sentra SE-R Spec-V rims. They are a 17 inch wheel that runs in at 114.3 which is the same as us as far as I can recall. Also they have tires on them that are stock sizes at 215/45-17 which when I used the Miata tire size calculator said that is would be a bit off, but not much. I think it said that at 59.3 it would read like 60 or so. That is pretty managable to me. My question is , does the fact that the Sentra is a FWD car matter? I have seen rims that are for RWD cars that sort of seem like they say it for a reason. The only thing is I am not sure what that reason is. Is it okay to use a FWD rim on our cars? SuDZ

Quick rebuild of wiper arm pivots...
How slow is too slow for the wipers? Since I have only had this car a very short time and never really ran the wipers, what is it supposed to wipe like? I mean just a general idea for if it is slow compared to most Z's or what. SuDZ

Trouble finding rims
I have been trying to wade my way through rims but having a tough time. basicly i am looking for about a 16 inche wheel for my Z. Now what size wheel, tire would work best? Also my other question is where do you guys look. I could not find anything on places like tirerack.com or most other sites do not have a 260 (or 2140 for that matter) listed as one of the available cars. Just looking to see where you guys have been looking for some ideas. SuDZ

Neither do any of my friends when they see it in my garage. Very few will know of a 280 but usually think the later zx versions. SuDZ

hehe I meant too late for that count to be accurate since it would have already been about a minute later hehe. Yeah I got that feeling before that I might have been on the younger side of the site, but that works for me because some of you guys have been working on these cars since my parents were in high school. Lots of great info to be learned. SuDZ
