Travel to Australia
It looks like we will be down there for about two weeks. My father doesn't want to be away from running his buisness for too long and also my little brother can not miss a whole lot of school. So this is the range we are figuring right now. SuDZ

Travel to Australia
Hey guys. I am looking at heading down to Australia around April or so. It will be me and my family. My sister is going to school down there for a few months, I don't know if it is a well known school or not but it is the University of Wallengong about an hour north of Sydney. My family is looking to head down there for about two weeks or so and was looking to visit the outback or perhaps the Great Barrier Reef. Basicly I am looking to see if you guys have any recomendations of either two for a visitor or also if you have any travel agents you could reccomend. I was curious if maybe there were some travel companies that are popular or have a good reputation there that we might not have looked into yet. We still have some time to go but are trying to figure everything out now. Any help would be great, if you have any other questions that might help let me know too. SuDZ

1971-240z-Hood Release Cable SNAPPED!!
On one of my old cars I had the cable snap on me...with a dead battery...in the rain...about 4 degrees above freezing. Great timing. What I did was put a piece of metal I found on the ground under the hood and pryed it up a little. gently around an inch or so. I then felt around and flipped the lock with my hand and popped it open. Looking at the guy next to me I said "Nice. I got the hood open." He looked at me and said "Yeah but your battery is still dead". Way to bring me down mister. SuDZ

Rigid Brake Lines
I called Classic Tube, I guess they were updating the database for who they make things for and I just happened to be looking for Datsun while they were removed. They took the order over the phone and will be on the way. Thanks again guys. SuDZ

Rigid Brake Lines
I was considering them as well but since they said you need the brochure of theirs to get the parts numbers etc that if I could find them somewhere else it would be good. Mainly because after I signed up to get the brochure it would still be a few weeks till the brochure got here and then another week or so of shipping. Basicly almost a month before they would even get over here to be installed. SuDZ

Rigid Brake Lines
i actually did look at them but figured that since neither Nissan or Datsun where under the list of vehicles they make cars for then they were not supported. I sent them an e-mail to see how it goes. Thanks SuDZ

Any info on triple carbs?
The price looks high on paper but you have to figure in the fact that they are three brandnew built for this speciific application. I mean look at Ztherpay where if you can a new set of the stock carbs from them it is like $900. Now with the tripple webbers it is another carb as well. SuDZ

Lug nut torque
If it is anything like my front tire then the previous owner thought you should tighten them to about 682lbs of pressure. I was actually bending the tire iron and it still was not coming off. Dang PO. SuDZ

Clutch Bleed
Alright, found my leak. It looks like the leak is the tubing that connects into the slave. The problem is removing this hose. Does anyone have any idea on how to remove it? I have it removed from the slave itself but not from the other end that heads up towards the hood of the car. Where it conencts I can not really geta hold on it with a wrench and even when I dothere is not really any space to move the wrench. has anyone removed this before? How did you go about doing it? 280Z idiosyncrasies?
You ain't kidding. I have only had my car a few weeks and have already come across a few things that other owners goofed or "jimmy rigged" to get going again. SuDZ
